On December 3rd, 2024, the Nassau County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene at a local business for reports of a potential incident at the location. So I come through and I swing wide to pull in right here. I get out of my truck. He literally pulls up right there. Jumps out of >> this road. >> Yep. On this access road right here. >> Okay. uh jumps out of his truck. So I'm standing there. I was like, "Bro, what the [ __ ] your problem?" So he's walking towards me. I'm like, "Bro, I'm not scared of you." >> [ __ ] the back, pointed right at me. At that point, I don't know who the female passenger was, but I seen her throw her fast food bag on the the dash to try to calm him down to get him back in the truck. I got you. >> And then a few people out of here got out of their car and then that's when he took off. I called my supervisor. So he said, "Keep your head on the swivel." >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And as I'm coming out with uh back into my truck to get another stack, >> uh I see that same truck come back through. I I know it was him cuz I seen the the whatever the red thing he had on the back of his truck. I don't know if it was a cooler or what, but it's bright red. And no, he won't start trying to take his jacket or jack shirt, whatever it was. pull over. He wanted to try to take it off and he started coming towards me. After that, I proceeded on down there to the stop sign and when I took a right a little bit before or whatever you got, >> I got a order for Waw Wa >> down there past by the interstate. >> I went and got it, delivered it down here off and that's all. Uh, no, whatever the road is right there, right there next to the store goes out across the tracks and all that. >> Okay. >> Okay. It was He whatever subdivision back there. >> Okay. went and dropped that off and I was coming back and I was going to quit. But when I got to the end of the subdivision, you already take a left to turn back on that road there. That's when I got the order for uh >> Woodburg, how you say. >> So So all this So you went and did a delivery and came back here to pick up the order. >> Yes. >> And already all this had already happened. >> Yes. And I left it alone. It was like, you know. >> Yeah. Cuz I thought it was done over. >> Okay. Hey, come here. All right. So, why did you wait an hour to call call this in? >> Why did I wait an hour? >> Yeah. >> Well, when they pulled off, I called my supervisor and it wasn't an hour. So, that's my supervisor about 12:15. Okay. >> Right. So, he left at that point. >> Yeah. >> My supervisor said, "Just keep your head on the swivel." He said, "It's not the first time we've had something like that happen." So, I'm making my delivery. As I'm making my delivery, I see the same truck pull back in. And that's when I call you guys. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, according to him, uh, you almost ran a stop sign, rear end, hit him. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> That's what he's saying. But I he was on his phone and he didn't see me come through. >> Okay. Well, regardless of he laid on the horn, you laid on the horn. Yep. >> Y'all both laid on the horn. That's when the passenger started yelling at him and whoever was in that parking lot, they got out of their cars to I guess to get a license plate. He drove off. >> Okay. So, he drove off. He went off that way. >> He went to Wawa. He order I'm telling you, he went to Wawa, picked up a order, delivered it where he was supposed to deliver it. He got another pickup. He had the water burger. So, he came back to pick up that order. And that's when you call. Yeah. Exactly. So that's that's like about 40 minutes passed by. >> Yeah. I didn't call the first time because he left. I thought he left. The situation was >> dead. Yeah. >> So when I seen him come back, I was like, "Okay, now this [ __ ] don't feel right. Let me call the police." >> Okay. So all this it was because of a road race that to let you know the gun is fake. It's a BB gun >> as well. >> All right. But but okay. So now that's even better. But as of right now with it being 45 minutes, I don't know of anybody who's like I've never seen a case where you're going to get aggravated assault on somebody when they waited 45 minutes to call >> to call. This guy paused. And then he goes, "No." And then he goes, "Well, and if I if if I did, like, why would he stop? If he sees somebody that's that's a threat to him, why would he stop?" And he didn't keep moving. I said, "You did say something to him as he was leaving." And he goes, "Yeah, but that he doesn't need to stop. If somebody's yelling stuff at me and I feel like I'm threatened. >> Yeah. >> If I feel threatened, I'm not going to stop. So I said, "Look, >> you you yell something at him that made him stop." You decided, you made that choice to stop and confront this guy. You had the choice to keep moving. But no, you decided you wanted to flex too because you had a BB gun. Oh, you decided you want to flex too because if he's takes off, if I take off my shirt and you're in your vehicle and I tell you get out of your truck when he took your shirt off.
