on June 23rd 2023 a significant incident took place in Florida involving law enforcement officers responding to a call about two individuals who were unconscious in a car at a stoplight um said he hasn't you know had anything to drink or doesn't smoke but his motor skills are a little slow so okay we'll figure it out you want zero yeah I'll put car just stay over here ma'am yeah yeah yeah I can't I'm you have to you have to go sit on the bench can't just sit on the bench you can sit on the bench Uncle who's your uncle he's he's director International cyber security over I just your name no okay no anytime you pull somebody outside of their car you guys can pull them over you you do realize that you were passed out officers arrived at the scene and found both the male driver and the female passenger unresponsive the fire department was called to wake up the driver who seemed to be in a state of confusion or unconsciousness I know that I'm not the one charging right but you both are pass down both of us yeah you don't remember that no I was passed out mother have a seat have a seat let me call have a seat you can call let me call but you you're not going to go over there with him you can call whoever you want and stay right there let me put this in there just don't make this harder than it has to be his record put this on his record all right's doing put it on my I'm not passenger was visibly upset and began questioning the officer's actions she argued that the driver was not intoxicated but was simply exhausted from working long hours no man no that's too far for my because he has to do he has to do this that's too far can I just stand at the corner yeah yeah we can see on the you can watch him do his his he's going to probably do the because if you get fo over I'm going to have like whatever all right stay here I need to make sure you're sure you can stay on this side can you not bu me then listen don't body me then listen I'm not trying to be difficult you are being very difficult okay but if your wife was in this situation and it was your wife looking out for you you would wanton her no because she's going to get in trouble you're going to get yourself in trouble for no reason okay let him do what he has to do no I can't I'm sorry I'm so we'll put you in the backseat of a police car and wait there I've been in there okay but do you want to go back in there now and wait then s here and watch him you're watching him you watch you are watching you're not getting any closer though you're going to impede that officer's investigation and I can't let sorry she also expressed concern that her partner was being unfairly targeted by the police citing Tik Tock videos where people claimed that officers arrested individuals as soon as they exited the pull them over fire was here they were here for a medical call this gentleman here says you guys went through the light almost five times and nobody murdered how do we go through the same light almost five times it kept going and you guys didn't move it cycled five times they said the second that t Tik Tok said the second that you guys TI to so you're moving your head quite a bit and you're moving it like like this just focus on keeping your head perfectly still okay he works 90 Plus hours that's a lot of that's a lot of War it's my fault I got to kicked this out of my last place I didn't mean to but he has to go the officers attempted to perform standard field sobriety tests on the driver the passenger however interfered with these actions refusing to cooperate with the procedure she was adamant that the driver's Behavior was not the result of alcohol alcohol or drugs but rather fatigue from his work schedule and he has to make up the hours to play the deposit the security and everything on a new place it's not hisult I don't I got I got I cut my tendon on accident so I I was cooking dinner I got my tendon and I up but it's not his fault it's mine whatever it is he's just trying to make ends me right now right he's not being pulled over arrested for working I know you're right I just saw this thing that said that pull us over you arrest people for anything but we didn't pull you over you didn't no okay I don't know I wasn't the one driving I wasn't yeah I turned 21 like what a month ago did you want to call somebody and ask for advice or anything call my uncle the situation as she physically positioned herself between the officers and the driver demanding they stop the tests at this point the officer explained the necessity of the test to determine whether the driver was fit to operate the vehicle I really don't need to cuz I wasn't driving I'm not no I just don't want you to fall or hurt yourself I'm not going to fall and hurt myself I'm okay but I do need to choke on him hi right so you told my other officer that you didn't have anything to drink all right how much have you sorry um a couple cider couple ciders can I go ask a question up there when he's done cuz he's in the middle of stuff and he's timing it and and he's recording am I allowed to pay his bail oh whatever it is I can pay it but you're going too far in the future we don't know if he's even in trouble or getting arrested that's the thing so there you go he's leaving work I'm so he overworked he was very tired and he fell asleep but I saw on Tik Tok that you guys if he just fell asleep it's not a problem has he been drinking tonight no he hasn't I have % high and you weren't driving so it's 100% perfectly okay okay but I saw this thing on Tik Tok that said that you guys can hold arrest charges and just arrest for no reason no there was this student athlete in Okala you can't arrest anybody for just nothing oh okay well I saw this thing in Okala there was this student athlete and officers just arrested him the passenger's interference led to her being arrested for obstruction as she prevented the officers from performing their duties the driver after failing the sobriety tests was also arrested on charges of DUI well we don't do that in s tired in sampa yeah okay if he's just tired he's tired okay if he's just tired then we're okay as long as he's not um but he's been working for like 80 hours wow and I'm ready to go run charge don't do that cuz off going I don't care I know but then s you would be in trouble and he you got a wife you're married right yes so look what how how would you feel if then he said he passes everything and he's going to go home and now you're going to jail cuz you ran over there and didn't listen to directions how do you think he'd feel honestly I don't know how he would feel I'd be upset if my wife did that as a wife I would be okay with it as long as I knew that he was okay so wait till he's not okay to let's Tik Tok okay that's me but Tik tok's not necessarily how it always happens you guys pull someone over is what you're going to go and press them charges he doesn't they said that they said the second that they tell you to step out of your vehicle so do you believe what Tik Tok says yes I don't know anything else I've never been pulled over maybe you need to elaborate on your life skills I need to get pulled over more often not necessarily I'm just worried he just worked right but that also specializes in what he's doing so if it's 80 hours cuz I'm tired we're going to know that you promise I'm not doing the the exercise you're not doing the as the situation continued the passengers emotions became more intense she shouted at the officers making threats and expressing her frustration at the process the officer maintained professionalism and continued with the procedures the passenger became physically involved in the altercation which led to her being detained okay he just worked I went to go pick him up I wasn't drinking at the time I went to pick him up and then he got out of work and so was like hey let's go get a drink and so we went and got a drink and I don't know if he drank anything I don't think he did but there was this girl uh white lie there was this girl that just kept she was like oh let me buy a drink I think she's trying to get with my man uhoh honestly that's not good no I know they always do that in E they always do that but he was my ride home and she just kept I don't know she just kept doing some real like whatever but then oh I'm going to watch him because I'm concerned about him only him Tik Tok said the second that you get out the car it doesn't matter but you guys are going to rest either way at least right yeah you need to he doesn't deserve that she works 90 hours a week to just put food on our table you know what other people don't deserve to yeah get hurt and an accident and die but I'm I promise you he's not driving under okay well that's what these exercises are going to hopefully decide show my partner the female passenger continued to resist expressing her belief that the officers were unjustly targeting her partner she argued that his exhaustion was the real reason for his behavior and that the police were overreacting despite her protests the officers continued with their arrest procedures your uncle her frustration with the law enforcement process claiming that the officers had no real reason to arrest them however the situation was ES escalated by her interference with the officer duties to see no no because he put the foot on the table up no back up back up you're going to you're going to regret you're a real strong man right put your hands on a female right oh you're so scary so in charge you work around car you don't deserve this [ __ ] in the end both individuals were arrested the passenger's emotional responses and resistance to the officer's actions led to her facing additional charges she continued to express frustration insisting that the situation was unfair and even indicated plans to take legal action against the officers [Applause] involved is there is there a like a you going to knocked me out no not at all go over there at the end of the incident the charges included the driver being arrested for DUI after failing SRI tests the female was arrested for obstruction of justice for interfering with the officer's duties and resisting arrest the maale was charged for driving Under the Influence call your lawyer or something there's nothing you can do about this right now that's a good idea it's 4: a.m. they'll answer 5 a.m. no go stand over there you're going to end up going I don't care go over there I no no way around no he didn't do [ __ ] over
