On June 5th, 2024, officers responded to the lobby of their own police department regarding a disorderly citizen. A woman was upset because she believed her previously filed complaints had not been properly documented. When officers arrived, the woman was yelling and causing a disturbance in the lobby. >> There is absolutely no complaint. >> You're not going to keep taking the same complaint over and over again. Don't get in his face. >> One of these THREE COMPLAINTS THAT I have today is about officer coming down here on the 17th and pretending to take two citizen players. I have not in any moment before this at no moment before this have I put in a complaint about that. So that is not a repeat and rather than taking which this policy says you must do you invalidating it and pretend that the material I was showing you didn't exist. >> I have given you what you requested. >> Yes. I have never I have never complained about that pretending. They pretended to take two citizen complaint affidavits. They put the numbers on the pages. They went back there and made a copy for me, two copies, cuz they were two separate complaints. Numbered the pages for each of them and then didn't sign them. The woman was charged with battery on officer and resisting and obstructing an officer with violence.
