Oh my god. >> Well, she was she was threatening us. She we we we can't fear for our lives because she was trying to beat up >> before you saying that she showed the dunk cuz she was in fear. >> Yeah. >> Man, can you please not do this in front of my daughter? >> You use them again? >> Yeah. I promise I ain't running, man. I ain't going I ain't trying to make >> I mean, you know, this is traumatizing enough to my daughter. This is the second time she's seen me get locked up. The first time she was 2 months old, dude. my gun. >> What began as a police response quickly spiraled into chaos as officers tried to assess the situation. The parents became increasingly hostile, shouting, resisting, and openly defying police commands. Meanwhile, the real victims stood silently nearby. Children caught in the middle of an explosive and dangerous confrontation. >> Why I'm stressing so bad. >> Okay, well, we're not just going to let you go to pick him up. either you call. >> What happened next turned this call into a race to remove children from a situation that was rapidly getting out of control. This is when police rescue kids from out of control parents aggressively defying police. The first incident is something happened inside this home left officers speechless. >> Did he say where it was where the round was where it was shot? There's blood everywhere. >> I'm trying to find the kids. >> I was upstairs in bed. I don't know what happened. I just went downstairs, seen the blood, and grabbed it. >> On November 6th, 2025, police responded to a chaotic scene after a young child suffered a gunshot injury inside a home, >> man. What's going on? He got in my drawer. He got my gun. [screaming] I'll try. Do you want to sit down? [laughter] >> Q96. It's going to be a small child. Officers confirmed the weapon was a 9mm Glock handgun belonging to the child's father. The child is alive but has severe hand injuries. >> Shot himself in the hand with the father's handgun. I believe he is alive currently. Glock >> n >> six advising it's a Glock 9 mm handgun. Okay. >> Hello. Got a probably three or four year old that blew his hand off with a 9 mm. Uh just I talked to the dad briefly. He said he got into his I said, "What is going on, man?" I said, "He got into my nightstand and got my gun and blew his hand off. He's crying." >> Emergency responders determined the injury is critical, requiring air medical transport. The child is conscious and crying >> and screaming and can feel him sticking needles in him and eyes are open, but it's pretty gnarly injury. I have Tim down there now, but we're going to have to Briner got to report the kid was dead. He's far from dead, but it is pretty serious. He's definitely have to go on the helicopter. I've only seen a little bit of the hand, but I didn't The little bit that I seen looks not good. >> Sir, I'm I'm sorry to be this way, but I'm going to the hospital. >> Sir, I need you to stay here. >> I can't I got to go see my son. >> Listen to me. Is the house open? >> I just shut it. >> Is it unlocked? >> I don't know. I live right here >> in this fourth five. >> Yep. >> Okay. So, whatever happened happened here at your son's house? >> This place right here. >> Okay. My son is screaming for me. >> I know. I hear you. So, you were not in this house today? This Okay. What we got? >> Uh 5-year-old autistic kid lives here with dad. >> Kid got into dad's nightstand, pulled the knife. >> Officers secure the scene while learning the father transported the child to the hospital himself, leaving visible blood trails from the home. >> Millm out of dad's nightstand and blew his hand off. Blew the kid's hand off. Yep. kid shot himself in the hand. >> We tend to believe that story is that I don't know. I don't know these people. >> I don't either. >> All right. Camera there. >> Yep. >> At least one. >> So, this is grandpa that lives here. >> Grandpa lives here. >> Yep. Grandpa went to the hospital with dad. I got blood coming out of the house going over to where and there's peel out marks where the dad left. And >> yeah, I was in radio when the call come out. I'm like, "Oh [ __ ] I better haul [ __ ] on 81." I don't know if it was a kid abduction or what was going on. They got like I was in radio. They had like four to six 911 like nobody talking and at least one talking and it was like >> Yeah, there was Yeah. called No, still live. >> Okay. >> Hello. So, I've not been in the house, but I got blood coming out of the front door dripping down the drive or the sidewalk over to where the car left. Then I got >> investigators established that the child described as autistic accessed the firearm from inside the residence without adult supervision. >> Peel out marks which is consistent with everybody said dad was running around banging on doors telling people call 911. Then he said I'm taking the kid to the hospital myself and loaded him up and and took off. So I got crime scene tape up. Um I got drops of blood coming out of the house down the sidewalk into where the car was parked. I have not been in the house. I believe it's locked up. I haven't even tried to open the door yet. So, >> is there anyone else at your house, man? >> I brought my daughter. >> I seen her out in the waiting room. What's your name? >> It's okay, baby. >> Yo. Um, they're trying to get a hold of our investigation staff. kids alive. >> The father gives consent for officers to enter and search the home, including recovering missing fingers and securing firearms. >> Uh, born in 2017, he's he ain't going to have a whole hand. Are we on a three-way here? >> Um, I was just going to call tell Dalton just to meet me out here cuz the dude is out here. Um, he's given consent to go in the house to at least go retrieve the fingers. I'm going to talk to the dad a little bit more. >> See if we can get consent to go in and do the whole thing. He said they could go in there, didn't he? >> Did you guys get a hold of mom? >> I don't know if they've gotten a hold of the mom or not yet. >> Okay. >> Uh I know they're going in there to try to find the fingers. Can they go in there and process it and >> anything? >> Okay. They can go in there and uh get the gun and secure the gun. >> Okay. >> If anything changes with that, let me know. Okay. >> No, no, no. >> All right. Okay. He gave his consent to do whatever we needed to do in there. Um, I told him to get a hold of me if that changes, but as of right now, you have full access to do whatever the police need to do in there is what he told me. So, >> inside the home, officers locate blood throughout the residence, a spent casing, a magazine, and signs of the shooting's path. >> All right, we'll go in and check. Let my dispatch know Henry 13 just got a call from the hospital. Uh they're wanting uh digits recovered from the child. We're going to go in the house and see if we can recover those. >> Sheriff's office, make yourself known if you're in here. >> Police department got Blood right here. Blood there. All through here. Oh, upstairs. Looks like. >> Okay. >> Oh, wait. There's a there's a casing right there. Oh, there's Okay, there's the there's a magazine. Here's blood. Here's blood. Blood up here. Yeah. Stops right here though. >> Got no nothing. >> That's an attic. >> No blood there. >> Okay. Did he say where it was where the round was where it was shot? There's blood everywhere. >> I'm trying to find the kid's fingers. >> Man, I have officers on the phone that are down at your house. Where are the Where did it h Where were the fingers? >> I don't know. I was upstairs in bed. I don't know what happened. I just went downstairs in the blood and grabbed him and started killing. >> Okay. So, you don't know where he got >> I It was in the bathroom in a top cabinet is where it was, but inside of a holster wrapped around some inside the towel. >> Okay. All right. It was in the bathroom in a top cabinet. >> Uh and it was like wrapped in cloths and stuff. So, it should be I mean I believe he doesn't know cuz he woke up and heard this. >> Oh, here's one. >> Oh, you got something? >> Yep. Got it. >> Right here. >> How many fingers are we missing? We found one. >> How many fingers are we missing? >> Two. Uh, we're missing two. >> Ring and pinky. >> Ring and pinky fingers. >> Ring and pinky. I've got We got one finger. We're still looking for the other one. Witnesses and family members described the father panicking, asking neighbors to call 911 and immediately leaving for the hospital. >> And just tip of >> Okay, it's going to be just like the tip of the pinky finger. >> Your antibiotic. >> Tip of the pinky. Okay. I got one whole finger and I got looks like a tip of maybe a bone. >> Okay. Yeah, we'll do some digging. But I think I got I think I've got a bone here. Okay. >> All I got is a big Ziploc bag, though. >> That'll work. >> I'm trying to find a different plastic bag though to wrap. >> Yeah, there's the That's the tip of his finger. >> Okay. >> I mean, if you want to >> So, they have So, they got one finger and then they got maybe the tip of the other one. >> That should be just come out here. >> He's requesting you take Well, >> you just take them all. >> Take all the guns. >> Oh, yeah. We'll deal with that in time. We everything. We got it. It'll be all right, man. We'll get through it. But Nothing else. If you find something else, just let me know. >> There's this. Okay. Here's this. >> 217. What's the address? >> Fingers. >> Thank you so much. Okay, >> good. Did you talk an officer out at the hospital just now or? >> No. >> Okay. Can you give me a statement on what you what happened this morning with you or >> All I got was a phone call and I couldn't understand one word >> from your son. >> From my son. He was just it was screaming. >> The father is read his rights. He declines to give a detailed statement at that time but cooperates with evidence collection. >> And then there was a kid in the background. >> Yeah. and he said he I can't honestly say what he said. It was just so much. >> I'm I'm recording this right now. I just want to let you know. Okay, that's >> fine. >> So, you were at your daughter's house. You got a phone call from your son and he's screaming frantically. >> He's frantically frankly. And he says he and I I heard him say, "I can't get 911 on the phone." And so I I first thing I did is I hung up, called 911, told him the address, and I came here. >> He was already gone to the hospital. And >> that's when I pulled up. That's what when you pulled up I was out panicked. >> Okay. >> Your son's on his way to Springfield. >> Thank you, sir. Very much. >> Grandson's okay, though. I mean, he's gonna be okay. >> I hope so. >> Uh, lost some fingers. How long does this you I asked you like usual take? I'm just clean up. I would like to get in there and clean up the blood before he comes home and sees it all. >> Just be a few hours. >> A few hours. Okay. >> Hello. Can I talk to you for a second? >> Sure. What uh what what did you see or what happened this morning? First of all, I'm recording this. Okay. >> Okay. No problem. Uh well, I heard uh somebody knock my door. They slam it like very hard. It was like around 7:30, I think. >> And so I when I dress up, I just saw the lady. She was here and she told me, "Can you please call 911? Something's happening." Okay. So I went inside. I grabbed my phone and start calling 911. But then I saw that guy from here. He took the two kids. It was I saw a boy and a girl. >> Yeah. >> And he left his car. That's >> You didn't see Did you see any blood or anything like that? Nothing. >> No, not one one of the kids was crying. I remember that. >> Okay. >> Tim Mitro. >> Nice to meet you. Um does your camera work just a robbery? >> Yes, it does. But my daughter just called me >> and my sensitivity is not on. The only thing it captured, you're going to have to get her to take my phone or whatever to get it. >> Okay. Uh, only it captioned I believe was him. This ain't his blood. >> I'm guessing he sits here and plays video games and watches the kids play on the cameras. >> He does have cameras in his home. I'm not sure if they record us to just like if he goes upstairs because the one that got injured is autistic. >> Okay. >> So, he can't be left alone clearly. But he usually has them like just on live view so he can go to different Yeah. monitor. Um but I will ask him I asked my mom cuz she's with them if they record and if they did record anything so we can get you >> Yeah. And I saw the DVR behind the TV um for it. >> Okay. >> So that's I guess kind of where we're at. He's we're just going to collect the evidence. >> Okay. >> And go from there. [snorts] Nick, >> I know I just talked to you the other day. Um I have a camera on page. >> I want to read your rights real quick for pages cuz I want to talk to you. Okay. >> Go to Springfield. Don't >> Yeah, we're waiting on the helicopter's got to come. So, >> him I know, but do I get to go? >> I don't. We'll we'll figure it all out here shortly. >> All right. I'm going to read your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You understand those rights? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So just what I know you probably explained it but >> investigators allow the father to travel to the hospital while advising the case remains under investigation. [snorts] >> Don't think it's rude or anything but I'm not saying anything >> at all >> cuz I don't know. I just woke up. >> Okay. So tell me what happened when you woke up then. I guess I'm >> take this room. I'm going to repeat silent. Okay. That is fine. I'll let you get back with table. [snorts] >> All right, we're all done. >> Um, I locked the door just so we don't have to get a hold of him to hear him say that you guys can go in there. So, any questions for us or anything? >> Well, there's two questions, but I don't know how to answer ask them. I >> just got the phone call from mother. >> Mhm. >> And he's going to lose four fingers. >> Okay. I you know, honestly, I'm glad I'm glad he's losing four fingers and he's alive. >> All right. >> You have any questions? Don't hesitate to call. >> Do you want to go to Springfield? Is that what you're wanting to do? >> Let me call my investigator real quick. See if they need you for anything else. >> Oh, thanks. I appreciate you. >> Hello. You don't need him for anything else than now. Right now, cuz he's thinking he's going to jail. So, he can go to Springfield as far as you guys are concerned, right? All right. I'll talk to him. Nick, I talked to the investigators. Um, they said you go to Springfield if you want to. It's not probably the last time that you'll hear from them, but you can go ahead and go down there with your kid and then we we know you're not skipping town. So, >> oh, can you take this? >> I love you, baby. It's okay. Hey, they're just talking to me. It's okay. >> Yep. We're just talking. >> So, it's not we're not saying it's over. Obviously, >> the father was charged with failure to properly secure a firearm and child endangerment. Officers seized the 9mm handgun spent casing and home surveillance system as evidence. The case proceeded via a notice to appear with further review by investigators and prosecutors. Remember, firearms must always be secured, especially in homes with young children or special needs dependent. A single lapse in safe storage can lead to irreversible lifealtering consequences. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. This is every parent's worst nightmare. Secure your guns. No excuses. [music] I'm just grateful the child survived. Think this situation was already intense. The body cam catches a split-second decision that changes everything. Comment if you saw it coming. The next incident is when irresponsible mom leaves her 17-month-old baby home alone to buy Croc. >> Lord, please don't take me to jail. What? >> How old is your daughter? >> She's 17 months. >> Are you kidding me? On November 04th, 2024, officers stop a vehicle traveling the wrong way on a street. The driver appears nervous and avoids eye contact. >> Why I'm stressing so bad. >> Okay. Well, we're not just going to let you go. Hey, >> you got the car in park? >> All right. Y'all look like they weren't going to stop for a minute. >> I I was just about to turn around when I hit the corner cuz the do not enter sign. >> Wrong way. >> That's That's why we stopped in the middle of the street. You're the wrong way. >> Yeah. So, >> here. Can I talk to you out here? You're not in trouble. I just don't want to hear hear yelling, that's all. >> Um, are you the register of the car? >> It's not registered to me now. >> Okay. Who's it belong to? >> A friend of mine. >> Gotcha. Is that your friend that's in the car? >> No, not her. >> Is that a her? >> Oh, I I I'm not trying to be rude. I literally from this way I thought it might have been a guy. >> Sorry. And I I literally when I came up the street and got midway, I saw the sign said I was just about to turn around, but I saw you coming slowly. I wasn't >> I'm going to be real with you. The reason you got that car up there like that, like nose to nose, is cuz I thought you were going to run. Okay. >> Not you personally necessarily, but I thought the car was going to run. Did you think about it for a minute? Maybe being real? >> No, I wasn't sure. >> Wasn't sure if you might just not stop. No, I wasn't sure if you were going to turn those lights on cuz I was just about to turn around. >> Um, so what brings you out and about right now? >> Just Okay. >> Is your driver's license on you or is in the car? >> Um, I do not have them right now. >> Okay. Do you have a a valid driver's license? >> Um, >> you have a look to me right now like you're worried you're going to go to jail. >> Well, it's not so much that. It's just I wasn't not going to stop, but I was realizing that I came in the wrong way. When I saw the sign, it's just midway in the street. So, >> sure. I understand that. >> You do seem like you're afraid you're going to go to jail. And I don't really know why. Is it because your license? Is it because of something else? Is there something? >> It's just my daughter. That's it. But I literally was taking her to the store and going to go pick her up. So >> my partner looked up your license. You've been revoked for a long time. You know your license ain't no good. >> It's revoked. >> It's been revoked since 2016. >> Please leave me alone. >> No. If you would have told me, >> are you? Cuz I could I could the front light for you. >> Officers observe heightened anxiety and inconsistent explanations. Victoria repeatedly expresses fear of going to jail. >> That other guy. >> Well, it's my it's my truck, so all you have to do is ask. Hey, perfect. Got to look for throw that off you. >> Yeah, I can do that for you. Thank you. >> Do you have anything illegal in the car? >> No. >> Are you sure? >> Okay. Just as far as you know this girl boy. >> Not to my knowledge. >> Okay. >> Hey coworker. >> Your hair too long. >> My hair too long on my sleeves down for you. I got super short hair. What you mean? >> I'm talking about all of that. >> Oh, the beard. Oh, yeah. That'll do it. >> Um, what's your first name? >> Victoria. Victoria. >> Oh, you said it's okay. Why you >> still I just I haven't met you myself. Do you still have a Texas driver's license? >> Yeah. No, I don't. >> No, you don't. You don't have a vital license at all? >> I don't have a license. >> Okay. >> I'm walking on this. I get done at >> once we finish everything. All right. >> I know where I walk. I got to get away from this car. >> Okay. Just hang out for another few minutes. All right. >> Another few minutes. D3 to me, baby. Is that what you mean? >> Thank you. >> Appreciate it. >> Next time, don't ask my name and finish saying it for me cuz that mean you do mind if we search and make sure there's nobody going on. >> We're going to We'd like to ask to search her, too. So, we'll ask her. >> Yeah, I don't know if I'm comfortable. >> During questioning, officers uncovered drugrelated indicators, including a homemade smoking device and suspicious behavior from occupants. >> That because I just got my car from somebody I want to say yesterday. Yesterday or the day before they had my car like all night. So, I I would not want to give consent to that because I haven't had time to clean it. I I started earlier. You worried there might be something illegal in there? >> No. >> Okay. Well, that's all we're looking for. We're not looking for We don't care about a mess. What might she have? >> Well, where we just came from, um, I thought she put whatever she may have had up because she had me wait for her. She was on a bike. >> What do you mean put it up? >> She went and took the bike in the house. She didn't use the restroom like I waited. >> Like she put it up in the house or put it up somewhere on her. >> Yeah. No, it wasn't even where we were. >> Can you ask her for uh consent? >> Hey, do you have any >> Do I look like I don't know creatures around me? >> I don't know. >> I'm trying to vibe, not shoot up. >> All right, dude. Do Do you mind if the beam officer right over here searches you? >> Yeah. Anything illegal, that's >> anything illegal, baby. The only thing you'll find in my is a bottle. Where's your >> It ain't a pipe at all. It's a bottle. >> A bottle. >> Man, y'all be asking all these questions. I wish she told you what it was. >> Baby, what you asking me for? Still answered your ass. >> Has she ever? >> I'm not sure. I don't see her every day or >> Hey, could you leave? Officers discover a plastic baggie concealed in Victoria's bra later determined to contain drug residue. >> Can you go ahead just step out? >> Oh my god. >> Uh back. >> Y'all just cuz I had that. >> Yeah. >> So I'm going >> So this a court date that's all day. >> Are you homeless right now? >> No. >> Why is y'all doing that right now, bro? Is that why I'm going to jail? You don't have >> You're not going to jail. >> Oh, she's searching you >> man. Man, I left >> scar. >> And what you looking at? >> Is that a Did you make a out of a mini bottle? >> Yeah. >> And you return. When was the last time you smoked? >> Smart, >> huh? >> Smart. >> Yeah. >> You get up and get >> Oh, you you >> Thank you. Sleep all day. >> What is that going to be? >> She can smell it. Not >> excuse. >> I do have a plastic bag here. >> Why do you have this? >> Because I feed my baby snacks sometimes. So, >> you normally keep it like in her shirt. >> Sometimes just because when I go to prepare her snacks, I don't have one. >> So, she had a baggie on her that she claimed had her kids snacks in it, but she pulled it out of her shirt. She says >> Victoria becomes increasingly distressed while being temporarily detained. Officers clarify she is not under arrest at that moment. >> She said, >> I was like in the bra. >> Listen, tangible. >> She pulled this baggie out of her shirt. >> Um had nothing in it. >> Sandwich bag. >> Okay, we know that's not a sandwich bag. That is a sandwich bag. Okay. intention, but that's not what it was for. Let's be real. >> You ask me. >> I already told him I don't >> I'm I ask questions. You ask way too many weird questions. >> It's not weird. I just I'm just very >> I'm very, >> you know, I know my stuff very well. That's why That's why I asked. >> All right, Victoria, can you do me a favor? We're going to walk to the front of this car. >> Oh, hell no. I know what I am talking about. Huh? You want to sit on my stuff together? >> I I have to walk them, please. >> I have to walk over here with these. >> Oh my god. >> They walk me over here and you say I'm not going to hell. >> No, just just have a seat. >> I'm not see what I need this car to stop leaking. >> I can't control that. >> What am I doing? >> What am I going to do for >> You're just getting detained right now, >> man. And you say that now, but what's the problem? >> No, >> I'll explain it all to you in a second. Just saying. >> So, what am I getting charged for? >> You're not getting charged. I just told you you're getting detained. >> That's like I said, you have you have the That's a court date. >> Uh, >> so what are you trying to do now? >> I just like to play that trickery. >> Victoria reveals a critical detail. Her 17-month-old daughter is home alone, left unattended while she was out driving. >> That's what that is. Yeah. >> Hey, I'm not on them games though. See, >> detain nothing at this point. >> Oh, Lord. Please don't take me to jail. What? >> We You're not going We're not arresting you right now. >> We'll explain to you what's going on. Give you a light here. >> Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. asking you what's the problem. >> So, you guys are detained based off what we found in the car. Okay. >> What's that? >> Was in the car. Ain't got nothing to do with me. I only >> Yeah, I I hear you. We'll talk to you in a second. >> Her over here. We're just going to have her sit in the car and wait. >> The reason I didn't want to give consent to search my car and my story hasn't changed, but my daughter's home. That's what >> officers immediately shift focus to child safety, securing the home address and arranging a welfare check for the infant. >> How old is your daughter? >> She's 17 months. >> Are you kidding me right now? >> I was going around and this is why I didn't want to go through. >> Why on earth did you leave your 17-month-old home alone? >> Because I came to my friend's house and I was going right back. And like I said, when I went, she asked me for a ride. I was literally taking her and going home. >> Is your house unlocked right now? >> No. That's why I'm stressing so bad. >> Okay. Well, we're not just going to let you go. So, now we have to figure out you have Come here. Come here. Take a seat. >> Can't go to jail, please. >> I didn't have anything. >> I didn't have anything. >> Where's the keys to your house? We need to go check on your daughter. >> They're in my purse. Everything that belongs to me is in my purse. >> What's your address? >> So, do you have anyone that can go over there right now? >> Lord, >> you're not going to jail. I just need you to sit down in the car. >> Victoria admits to a recent drug relapse after 7 years of sobriety. Officers challenge inconsistencies in her account. I >> just need you to sit down in the car. I'm going to I'm going to have the door open and we're going to continue to talk. Yeah. >> All right. When did you leave your daughter at the house? >> So, it's been about 30 minutes now. >> It's 1:52 right now. >> It's got residue. >> Okay. >> It's >> I need you to be very honest with me right now cuz you've got a baggie in your bra. You said it's for your kids snacks. I know that's a lie cuz it's got residue in it. You're keeping residue with your kids snacks? I don't think so. You're looking around like you're trying to come up with an answer. I need you to just be honest with me. Why do you have a baggie with residue in your bra? I must have left it in there earlier, but I didn't know it was anything in it cuz when I when he I don't want to move suddenly, but when he asked me is there anything there, I started pushing and I was like, "Oh [ __ ] I do have a bag up here." But I didn't know there was anything in it cuz I thought it was empty. That was from earlier today. >> Not thinking that we would find out that there's >> Yeah, I didn't know it was anything in it. That's why I gave it to >> I understand. Do you do you understand why it's weird that you would just have like an empty baggie that you found earlier today >> and then it was just tucked in your bra? >> I didn't know what was still in there is what I'm saying. I happened to when he asked me, "Do you have anything on you?" And I started doing this. I thought it was my um >> the cushion to my bra. >> Okay. >> And so I didn't realize it was up there. I I knew I had my bank card, but I didn't realize >> I had a relapse after seven years. So >> there's a innocent center console. You left your 17-month old baby home alone on the side of your bed. You've got a baggie with residue in your bra. You told me that you relapsed, but you're saying that you haven't smoked in a while. I don't believe you. Here's what I think happened. I think that you know that she knows where to get cuz you know that she smokes. I think that she asked you for a ride. I think that you drove through 23. >> With no suitable caregiver immediately available, officers coordinate temporary care through a family member. >> Street looking to pick up. I think that you've got a in the center console with that. I think that you did a big loop around Moors because you knew that there were police here earlier today and you wanted to make sure there weren't still police here before you came up to Morris and you weren't paying attention and you drove the wrong way here cuz you were looking for police. That's what I think. I need you to be honest with me about what actually happened cuz I don't believe that you don't smoke right now and that you haven't smoked in a week because no one keeps a baggie with residue in their bra just by accident because they think it's something else in the padding of their bra. >> If I had I would have handed it to him in his hand when I found that baggy. I didn't know anything was in there. >> And I think you talked to my partner something about you you have a grandfather or someone that lives on Orange AB. >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's their name? >> Frederick. >> So, her grandfather, she said, doesn't see very well. So, you may have to try to find another adult. How old is your grandfather? >> In his 80s. >> In his 80s. When you say doesn't see well, like can he care for himself? >> He does care for himself, but not great. >> Ma'am, is your grandfather going to be totally out of the question? I don't I don't think there's anybody else that'll come and get her. I mean, they don't >> Are you okay with the car seat going to your grandfather? Does he still drive? >> What What's grandpa's name? >> Okay, I'm going to go there now. I'll take the car seat and then in the event that uh >> that come can you park >> single single >> I can't park it. You can't park it. >> Victoria was charged with child neglect and drug possession. Officers prioritized locating and safeguarding the unattended child before completing enforcement actions. The case proceeded through standard criminal and child welfare review channels. Remember, leaving a young child unattended, even briefly, can quickly turn into a life-threatening situation. Substance abuse often leads to impaired judgment that places children at serious risk. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. That poor baby, this could have ended so much worse. 30 minutes is more than enough time for tragedy. Addiction doesn't just hurt the user, it endangers everyone around them. You think the officers were out of options here? Watch what happens next on the body cam and tell us if you would have done the same. The next incident is when toddler left in car while parents steal Pokemon cards from Target. >> Oh my god. >> No, we were going to leave the baby in the car and then hopefully your mom can meet the tow truck driver. What kind of question is that? On January 03, 2022, [music] store security and deputies stop a couple suspected of shoplifting Pokemon trading cards from a Target store. >> Come pick them up, >> please. >> Either you call on, man. >> Hey, what's up? >> What's up? >> Sam against your ID on you. >> No, sir. What's his first name? >> William. >> M. You have your ID on you? So like the that time is still Pokemon cards, man. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. That um just so we have an understanding. She had nothing. >> She was right there with you when you can see. >> Yeah. I It is totally me, man. Totally me. 100% me. >> You guys put the Pokemon cards into the >> Yeah, I I I you will give them back. Of course. Uh this 100% my responsibility, sir. Do you seriously honest to God? Um I am short on my rent and they are very valuable and I I was hoping to pull something in order to make up the money. >> Officers locate the stolen merchandise concealed inside the vehicle. Attempts to resolve the situation by paying are rejected. >> I'm short on my rent. >> Where are the cards in the car? >> Yeah, >> I know where they >> in the back seat. >> By the way, you can't say she had nothing to do with it when that's all you guys came in here for. And you concealed it right next to her. Just so you're aware of that. Yes, sir. >> I get what you're saying. I'm just saying she would have never >> Doesn't matter. She was right there with you. >> Say, I don't know if it would make a difference. Is there any way we could pay for it? >> This isn't an apology type of thing. >> You've already done it. You know what I mean? There's no way to just suddenly, hey, we're going to pay for everything because we got caught by the police. >> Yes, sir. >> You ever been arrested before? >> Yes, sir. >> For what? when I was a juvenile um stealing from Walmart when I or being with somebody who was stealing from Walmart when I was a juvenile and um for battery as an adult man I guess so >> could I call my dad to come get my phone please? >> Yeah, we'll figure that out in a second. Okay, >> tell my dad call. >> Do not call anybody right now. We don't want to make it a bigger scene than it has to be. Okay. Sit back. >> Am I? So, >> have a seat back in the car for a moment. >> Okay. But can I ask a question? >> Have a seat back in the car. Okay. >> Have a seat. >> Just keep your hands on the dash. Keep the door open. Okay. >> Yeah. You also stole stuff with the baby. >> Yeah. >> That doesn't matter. >> I I have the money for it. I can pay. >> Yeah. But guys, I just told him that's not how this works. You don't get to suddenly want to pay for things after you get caught by the police. It's not how it works. >> I literally You can literally see that I yelled for him. Like I literally >> walked right over to you and concealed it. It's on video. >> I I literally >> You watched him do everything. You can >> Officers confirm the couple's one-year-old child was left unattended in the car during the theft. >> Nope. >> Okay. All right. I just >> You also have all this stuff here. It's the same situation. Well, that's bulk from what we had before and we were going through all of our stuff. >> Regardless, it's the same situation. >> Am I going to know when his bail is or does he have to call me or >> wait? Okay. >> You're asking all these questions and you're just as involved as he is. You understand that, right? >> Yeah. But >> Okay. So, stop asking questions being that you might be taking the ride with them. Do you understand what's going on here? >> Yeah. >> Do you understand what's going on? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, stop acting stupid. Okay. Oh, I'm just curious. What? >> And understand you're doing this with a kid. That elevates things. >> Yeah, but I I can't I talk to him. >> No, >> because even if he doesn't want to press charges. >> Yeah. >> The state of Florida does. >> You want to get my first? >> Thank you. I'll go get the fresh one. We got child endangerment on what they had. How old is your child? >> A year old. >> A year old? Then they use a shoulder cover for it. >> All right, Courtney. You want to call your uh your father to come pick up your son? >> Why? I want >> Yeah, you're being you're being placed under arrest. >> Wait, what? Please, can I just be with the baby? >> I am being a decent human. You literally put your one-year-old child in danger. >> How is that? >> You cannot do a crime and then nothing happens because you have a kid. >> It is happening. I'm born. We use the stroller as a ways of concealing the >> merchandise. >> And so is she. I need you to call your dad to come pick him up. >> Either you call him or I call DCF. >> I'll take the phone. >> A family member is contacted and agrees to take custody of the toddler at the scene. >> Call him. >> What's his first name? >> His name is William. >> Okay. >> Please. I just want to be with my baby. Please. >> You can deal with him when you get out, but you are going to jail tonight. Okay. Please, I can't be without him. >> Hello. >> Hey, how are you? This is Deputy Cons County Sheriff's Office. How you doing? >> Oh, I'm fine. How are you? >> I'm doing good. Hey, I'm with Courtney right now. Uh, where are you located currently? >> Okay. Right now, I'm in um >> Okay. Can you come over to uh the target on >> Absolutely. >> All right. Just to make you aware before you show up on scene, you're going to be taking custody of her child. She's being placed under arrest. >> Okay. All right. >> Okay. >> So, we're over here right now. About how long do you think you'll be? >> Um, about 15 minutes. >> Okay. Can I get you the exact Can you look at the exact address? >> Stop. >> All right. Perfect. >> Yes. I'll be there in 15 minutes. >> All right. Judy, thank you. I'll see you soon. >> All right. Um, >> can I ask a question, please? >> Go ahead. >> Um, before you put me under press, please. >> Oh my god. Panic attack. Okay. >> Um, first thing, um, are they going to post my bail tonight? >> I I don't know. I don't control Bond. So, what I am going to do is obviously I don't want to place you in handcuffs in case we still need to, you know, worry about the child. So, as of right now, I'm going to keep you out of handcuffs, okay? But I do need you to take out all your everything out of your pockets. I need your key lanyard, you know, all that stuff. Okay? >> Okay. Is >> listen to what I'm telling you for me, okay? I'm being very cordial with you. I don't want to place you in handcuffs until your mom gets here. That way, she can take custody of your son. >> Okay? >> Can I grab him and hold him, please? >> Not right now because I don't want to get into a fight with you over your child. Okay? No, that's I'm not going to give you that option to Okay. What's your What's your son's first name? >> So, if you want to go ahead and just have a seat right on this curb for me. Can >> I can please hold >> Have a seat on the curb, Courtney. >> Have a seat on the curb for me. Thank you. I don't want to handcuff you in case you need to do something with your child. Okay. So, just bear with us. All right. >> All right. Will you have the right to remain silent answer any of my questions? Any statement can will be used against your rights. So >> you guys are stealing these for to sell them because you got you got a ton of cards in there. Do you can't sell those? >> Yeah, we >> I'm kind of confused, man, cuz that's like a >> Yeah, we a lot of them like the ones st and stuff. >> Yeah, they're not worth a lot. The ones that are in >> the parents explain they intended to resell Pokémon cards to cover rent. Store staff confirm concealment on surveillance video. >> Sleeves we have valued. >> Okay. >> We're $100 short of what our rent is. And that's why >> I got And how do you sell them? You just sell them locally. Offer up and stuff. >> Yeah. Offer up or to a game. They're >> that crazy. >> Yeah. Or to a game shop, they buy them immediately for cash. >> Okay. Fair enough. >> All right. Is there anything in that car besides Pokémon cards I need to be aware of? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, there's While I'm searching the uh the rest of the car inside of a not only I, we have a cigarette or cigar. All right. That was on your side. >> Okay. >> So, >> I'll take responsibility for >> Well, I don't want you to take Is it yours or is it hers? >> The cigarette is mine. >> Okay. So, that's fine. Um, and then, uh, there's a Milwaukee lunch box. What's in the lunch box? >> A Milwaukee lunch box? >> Yeah. It's like Oh, I'm sorry. No, it's a So, it's a red lunch box. >> Uhhuh. >> Is what's in that lunch box? Yours? >> Um, uh, actually, we went um fishing earlier today with my niece and two of my friends, and they left a lunch box and a fishing pole in my car. >> But it's unzipped and opened. That's what I'm saying. Like, that's weird. >> Yeah. I I >> And inside of there, we have pills and a pill bottle and a pill cutter. >> Yeah. >> No, sir. So, the lunch box isn't yours? >> No, sir. >> Is it going to be hers? >> No, it is not hers. >> Are you guys going to other stores and doing this? >> No, sir. >> So, how do you guys have so many Pokémon cards? >> No, I I've been collecting for years. >> That's what I'm saying. But these are all new cards, man. They're all like fresh out of the pack. >> Yeah, the ones that I have. >> The ones that are in there? Yeah. >> Yeah. Those those are I've If you see the sleeves in there, they're all sleeved up, well taken care of, fresh out of my binder. We were taken. Officers reiterate that concern for the child must come before criminal activity. Both adults are informed of impending arrest >> him to the game store Prodigy. >> Okay, cool. All right, we are beginning. All right, so Courtney, so I talked to him. The stuff that we found in the back seat here is there any anything else that belongs to Target? >> Not that I'm aware of. No. >> What's a yes or no? Like you should be aware of I mean you just you decided to take those out of the >> Yeah. Yeah, but no. >> No. Okay. Um, is there anything in here that doesn't belong to you guys? >> No. >> Um, did you were you guys somewhere with some friends about fishing or something? >> Yes. >> Okay. Uh, did they leave anything in the car? >> They might have. Yeah. >> Okay. Uh, who was driving when you guys got here? >> Um, I was driving when we got here. >> There's a lunch box on the driver's side floorboard. Is that yours? >> No, he just moved that over there when we got to the car. >> Okay. Have you ever seen that lunch box before? >> It's his lunch box. >> Okay. It's his lunch box, right? >> Yeah. He takes it to work. >> Okay. >> But I don't I don't mess with the lunch box cuz he usually keeps it in the work drawer. >> Okay. >> Do you guys have any kind of prescriptions or anything like that? >> Any what? >> Prescriptions. Like pill prescriptions? >> No, I don't. No, he don't. Not that I'm aware of. >> All right. So, if there's pills in that lunch box, whose pills would those be? >> Uh, my guess would be his because I don't touch the lunch box. He us, like I said, he usually keeps it in the work truck and he brought it with when we went um when we went fishing. >> Okay. They're not taking that to my baby, right? >> No, we were going to leave the baby in the car and then hopefully your mom can meet the tow truck driver. What kind of question is that? >> Because you're asking. Why would you ask that question? >> Because my baby was still in the car. >> Obviously, we're still searching the car. >> Just Just sit there and listen to what's going on. Okay? >> Just sit there. You don't need to keep asking questions. All right? >> If you were so worried about your baby, you wouldn't be doing this with your child. That's what the bottom line is. >> The child is safely transferred to a family member while deputies prepare transport and towing procedures. >> This was a mistake. I don't get the baby. >> Yeah. Yeah. So, did um did Judy follow you? >> Yeah. I'm I'm Judy's husband. I'm >> perfect. All right. So, yeah. >> Can I get him so he stops crying? >> Yeah. Yeah, that's what I was looking for. >> Appreciate it. >> Absolutely. >> What are you doing? Huh? What's going on? You see all the lights? >> Hi, guys. Thanks. Thanks for taking care of >> You got a car seat. >> They are being arrested. Uh, you know, and it is. >> Um, who's being arrested? >> Both of them. >> Both of them? >> Yeah, both of them. They're both They put their son at risk. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah. Again, I can't go into the whole nature of it, but either way, they're they're both being transported in jail tonight, and their car is being towed. Okay. All right. I'm going to go up to the torso. Okay. Okay. >> You have anything sharp on you going to stick or put me? >> No, sir. I don't have anything. >> Okay. You're just going to put your hands behind your back. Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't have bracelets on him. There's one on this one. >> Okay. I'm just going to take them off right now. >> Thank you. >> You want me to leave them in your car? >> Um, no. That's okay. >> You want to take them with you? >> Yeah. I don't think I'll be able to get my car out. I don't know if I'm able to work cuz he's the only one working. >> What about the ring? You want the ring to go with >> Oh, it's my engagement ring. Yes, please. Oh, no. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. All right, take a seat. Hey, remember what I told you, okay? Think about your child when you get up. Okay. >> A little bit better. All right. >> I'm so sorry. I really am. I'm so sorry. You want me to roll the window down for you? >> Yeah, because I feel like I have a panic inside. >> All right, just breathe. Just breathe. You'll be okay. >> Uh, so I was here um in reference to a shoplifting that almost occurred. Um, while we're here, we observed uh this gentleman here um you know, selecting multiple packs of uh Pokemon card, Pokemon trading cards. >> Correct. >> Okay. Um and then can you just kind of give me a rundown of what we were observing? Uh so while we were going through video review of the other incident, a individual coming into the store with selections of Pokemon cards in the toy aisle and then making their way over to the baby infant care aisle where there was another subject. Um and both subjects then had merchandise concealed under their cart. Um right after making their way and meeting together with the other subject, white female, um they both proceeded to exit out of the uh east side exit. >> Okay. And uh what what else did they conceal? >> Uh they concealed larger packs of Pokemon cards. Um the cards were then concealed uh under the baby stroller on top of the baby stroller with the um what looks like a blanket and then moved around. Yeah. And then moved around on >> Okay. And then who who made those selections? >> Uh that was the female subject. >> So female. Okay. So and she had walked in prior to the male actually walking in. >> Correct. >> Okay. Okay. And then he came in after and then walked out with her. And at that and at that point is when I made contact with them, you know, in order to identify them at that point. >> Both adults were arrested for shoplifting and child endangerment. The toddler was released to a family member at the scene. Store surveillance footage supported prosecution and the case proceeded through standard criminal channels. Remember, financial stress does not justify illegal actions, especially when a child's safety is involved. Leaving a child unattended during criminal activity dramatically increases legal consequences. This is the reaction of netzens to this situation. All that risk for Pokémon cards unreal. The baby deserved better choices from both parents. This went from petty theft to something much more serious. The tension is already high, or so it seems. What the body cam captures next saves a life pause and comment what you do here. The next incident is when entitled couple pulls gun in restaurant while their kids sit in the car. >> When we buckle in our kids or if their kids aren't buckled in, um the it's in the center council. So, we like to take it out. We were lingering. We were putting the car the kids in the car. >> On July 29th, 2024, officers respond to a call involving a woman accused of pulling a gun during a heated argument with restaurant staff over service. >> As of right now, I just need to put your hands on your back. Just drop the cigarette. You're not in trouble. You're just being detained right now for my safety. You do have a signal. You have a a firearm on you. >> Okay. >> Where's it at? >> It's on my my right hipster. >> 11. How many units do you >> need? >> I have kids in the car, so I don't want to leave it. >> She denies intentionally showing the firearm, claiming her shirt shifted while securing her toddler in the car. >> That's all. We're just we're going to get every side out. >> Jail. I didn't touch her. I didn't do anything. >> You're just being detained because again that's just a procedure. Okay. >> I'm like scared now. There's like so many. >> I've already read Miranda. Dorsey's inside talking to the other. >> They got into a verbal argument. Um >> I didn't even I didn't touch her. >> She left and then she went back in to get her kids to leave, but she's saying she denies showing her. >> I didn't show it to nobody. I fixed my shirt because I have a toddler and I noticed it. My shirt's loose. So, I noticed it was kind of showing and tucking in as I was buckling in my toddler. So, I went like this to pull my shirt down. >> We're going to figure that out. >> That's all I did. >> A witness seated near the restaurant owners states that the woman lifted her shirt and exposed the firearm while exiting, which he perceived as intimidation. wanted to be shown for that reason cuz I was afraid that they were going to think that I was trying to do that. So, I wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to pop out of my shirt. >> Yeah. Just talk to this deputy here. >> Yeah. How you doing? What What did you see happen? >> So, I was sitting at the head table here where a lot of the owners and a lot of the people that are regulars are sitting. >> Okay. And um she got pissed I guess either by the level of service or whatever. >> She decided to brandish. >> Well, when when you mean brandish, like what did she do? >> Like >> Okay. >> Where was this at? >> She pulled her shirt up and showed >> right there >> inside. >> Yes. >> Okay. Okay. Did she say anything when when that happened? whereas she >> she didn't make any threats, >> but as an ex cop from Chicago, >> okay, >> you know, like you don't have to. >> Was she paying a bill or was she she already ate? >> They were already they were already upset about the >> something >> transactions or the service or whatever. But as she started to walk out and she wasn't happy with the customer service, it became this. >> To me, that's brandishing. And I would say in my right state of mind, and I'm not going to lie, I've been drinking. >> Mhm. >> As she was walking out, she did that, like walking to the door. >> I would say that it was an intimidation thing. >> Okay. >> And as she started to make her way out, she had a complaint. Okay. >> The complaint became belligerent. >> Okay. >> And became one of >> Okay. Okay. >> All right. This is so unnecessary. >> So, I'm Dude, she's going to say that I [ __ ] I tried to put my hands on her. She's going to say all this she got in my face. >> It's okay. We have multiple witnesses. >> The restaurant owner reports that the woman displayed the firearm in a threatening manner during a confrontation outside the business. to get my kids, dude, that they had a son. >> I know. I know. She's got anxiety. She's bipolar. Depression. >> I just want my kids. I have postpartum. Like, I You're separating me from my kids. >> Can you please check on Luca? >> Embarrassing. >> This is so embarrassing. They told us to leave and that's what we're doing. >> They were sitting on that side. They got pissed off because everybody in the bar is a little loud. And then husband, boyfriend, whatever, he came out here and he said to my husband, "If you don't control his mouth, I'm going to go and control it myself." My husband's like, "Don't worry about it. You know, I understand. We're going to close the doors." So, I went and closed the doors. When I closed the door, he's like, "Oh, she should have done that before." I pretend I didn't even hear. And I walked out because I we had prior problems with his father here before for being disrespectful and calling people out, whatever. So Scott apologized outside to him. Said, "Listen, you know, I'll cover your bill as an apology, whatever." And then she got mad. She's like, "Oh, I don't need you to cover my bill. The principle is that you cursed and I have a son." I was sitting here crying, whatever. And she started calling me a That's when I got up. I was like, "What did I do to you? I didn't want to treat you bad." Like, "Oh, you gave me a nasty look." And then she started like acting like she's taking all the stuff out of her pocket to fight me. >> She was inside or outside? >> Outside. I was outside with her. And then I came back inside and she was there. >> She put the baby and the stuff continue cursing, whatever. And then she branded her gun like this way as if she's going to do something to me. >> The woman explains that the firearm was removed from the car to prevent children from accessing it while unbuckled. >> I felt like that was a threat. I'm sorry. >> What did it look like? >> Like a limeish color. Lilac holster. >> Like a green, blue, yellow, purple. >> Greenish. >> Okay. >> Greenish blue. Are you willing to write it in? >> Absolutely. >> Do you guys want to pursue charges? >> Absolutely. >> Do you have your ID with you? >> Yeah. >> I just came here to have lunch with my kids. >> We've been coming here for years. We have to spend >> our next question. Have you guys been here before? Like, do they thousands of family? >> I'm Portuguese. My parents are from Portugal. They come here first when they lived here and they know them very well. So, that's part where I'm a little confused. And he said the last time my dad was here, he was in >> they're taking it out against us. >> And then now that's basically I feel like what my dad did or whatever is being taken out on us now. >> Dude, this is crazy, bro. I've never [laughter] >> I've never done anything to her for her to talk to you with you. >> Can I like move in the shade a little bit? I'm like standing right in the sun and I just want to see my new gore. >> And you have no weapons on you, do you? >> No, sir. >> Are there any other weapons in the car? the only one that that you just took. That's >> okay. So, where did the firearm come into play? >> Uh, she um so when we buckle in our kids or if their kids aren't buckled in, um the it's in the center console. So, we like to take it out or put it on one of our hips. >> So, it's just in case he doesn't fumble around and get in in there cuz we were going to smoke a cigarette before we got into the car. >> Okay. So, it wasn't with you guys when you're inside. >> Uh no, we don't bring it inside. >> So, what was the exact reason for taking the gun out of the car then? because my four-year-old is sitting in the car right now by himself and he wasn't buckled and sometimes he likes to crawl in the front. >> Officers question why the couple lingered to smoke after an argument instead of immediately leaving the property. >> See and like, you know, kind of go through stuff. So, anytime we're smoking a cigarette before we leave somewhere, either me or my husband, if he's with me, take the gun out of the car and strap it to our hip cuz we can't just leave it laying somewhere. So, we strap it so it's on us and then when we get in the car, we put it back to where it belongs and then we go home. >> Before that point, like before the whole putting the kids in the car, you guys didn't already smoke a cigarette. >> Oh, he did. He was outside smoking a cigarette. I had come outside to smoke a cigarette before we had gotten the kids in the car, but then she had started screaming at me and the whole altercation happened. So, I didn't even get to. So then, >> so if the altercation happened, right, as you explained, so you guys just argue with them, you intended to then go and smoke a cigarette in front of business. >> No, I was putting my kids in the car. So as my husband's trying to buckle in my kids and we were getting ready to leave, I had a cigarette in my hand because I was stressed out. So I was like, "All right, I'm going to just smoke a cigarette before we get in the car and go." >> Okay. But what I'm saying is, okay, you just had an orgish with them inside. Okay. So you guys were leaving. >> Yes. >> He already came out to smoke a cigarette. >> Correct. >> Right. >> I should have just left. You're right. I should have stayed and smoked the cigarette. >> You're saying that you were then going to after putting the kids in the car, then stand in front of the business of what you just argued with both owners in front of and then smoke in front of business. >> I just I didn't think that two seconds. >> We were back here. I'm talking to her right now. >> I was here in the parking lot. I didn't >> I'm not saying I'm not saying where you're standing, but I'm saying that you just had an argument with someone. You guys are trying to separate and then you're going to stand center front of the business for the extent of smoking a cigarette. >> I only took a couple drives off of the cigarette. I didn't think it was going to cause such an issue >> cuz we were leaving. >> It's not I'm not saying it's about how much you actually smoked. >> It's just in general. >> I'm not saying that you had an argument and then after the immediate after the argument you're going to smoke. >> I get it. I should have just left. I have really bad anxiety so I just >> I needed a cigarette so I took a cup. I should have just left. You're right. >> The woman becomes visibly distressed repeatedly asking if she is going to jail and citing anxiety postpartum issues and breastfeeding. So, what about them saying that you guys were like you and the wife were trying to fight? >> No, we didn't even get near each other. She was We got into a screaming match. Okay. >> I was far away from her. >> Taking stuff out of your pockets to fight. >> No, I gave my phone to my husband to go get my kids. >> Where were the kids at? >> Inside. >> I get that you want to jump in. He's just getting her statement for right now. If you got something to add, you can talk to him after. >> Yeah. Honey, can you check on the case? Your mom's like scared. >> That's right. I'm going to I'm going to call Kenny right now. >> I didn't do anything wrong. I'm so confused. I didn't touch nobody or anything. >> I'm I'm so confused. Like, why she even called the cops? Like, we didn't even get near each other. >> Okay, just for the time being, just cuz a lot of people had to leave. You're not under arrest right now. I'm just have you sit in the back so I can do what I need to do cuz >> I'm going to jail. I still need to figure out exactly what occurred in the the statute, but I'm going to have you sit in the background now. You're detained at this time, but I need I need you to sit back there while I do what I need to do. >> Am I going >> Do you have anything else in your pockets at all? Just right now. >> What's in your uh back pocket? >> That's the He took the holster out. >> No, your back pocket. >> I'm just going to take the cigarettes out. Okay. >> Am I? >> Like I said, right now you're detained. What's in this back right pocket? It's a long day. >> You pull it out for me. >> Yeah, I'm going to jail, dude. >> I didn't say you're I said right now you're just detained. Okay, just sit back here for now. It's like I said, >> I have a newborn. I can't go to jail. >> Officers determined the firearm was visible enough for witnesses to clearly describe it meeting criteria for improper display. >> I didn't do anything. Can you take my glasses off of my face? I feel claustrophobic. And is the AC off? >> I can roll the windows down and get you some air. Just like I said, obviously everyone's leaving, right? So that's what you're sitting back here right now. Okay. >> Who do you want? >> I'm going to keep saying >> Can I sit up? >> I didn't get it on video yet. >> That's fine. I just forget to lie. I'll document this, too. >> Yeah. He keeps saying, >> you got a question before I walk inside? >> Yeah. I'm I'm I'm just so confused on because of the fact that they started that whole situation and we're in this position right now because they started it. >> Yeah. I mean either way um just first and foremost this is going to be written trespass form. You're not trespassing the business. You come anytime from this point forward then you arrest. This is your copy. >> Um so at this point she is going to go to jail. >> What? >> For improper display of a firearm. >> She never displayed it though. >> Well it's it's how they perceived it. They saw the farm. >> Despite her denial of intent, officers explained perception and witness statements are key factors under the statute. >> They were able to describe the firearm. So, it was out at at some point enough for them to be able to vividly describe exactly what color or what it looked like. Okay. >> Yeah. Because her shirt was it >> if you guys were in an argument with someone, then there should been no reason to even touch a firearm or or any manipulate in any way, shape, or form because >> just leave it with my four-year-old inside. >> Well, you guys should have got in the car and left. That's respectfully. That's what should have been happened. >> Okay. Um either way, that's just how it is right now. They saw a farm. They felt threatened by the the sight of the farm and the way it was displayed. >> Well, she was she was threatening us. She we we we can't fear for our lives because she was trying to beat up. >> Are you saying that she showed the gun cuz she was in fear? >> Yeah. >> So, you're saying she intentionally showed the gun? >> No, she didn't intentionally show the gun. >> Okay. So, she didn't show the gun cuz she was in fear cuz she didn't do it on purpose. >> No, no, it was. It was. The only reason why it came out is because our kids were in the car. >> But that should have been a nonissue. You guys just got in the car and left. >> I get it. for the hostile situation. She has anxiety, right? She has She's depressed. >> So, if she had anxiety, she should have left immediately, not lingered around trying to smoke us another cigarette or anything. >> We weren't lingering. We were putting the car the kids in the car. >> Either way, that's what's going to happen. It's It's just a mism, but she should be able to get booked and then be able to call you and figure out bonding and all that. All right. >> Oh my god, dude. You guys are ridiculous, bro. I just called Kenny commander and he's like, "Dude, that's >> that's fine." Um, >> either way, him being a commander has nothing to do you knowing him has nothing to do with this place in time which my investigation she committed a crime. All right. And she's going to jail for that crime. >> All right. >> All right. >> Just take that off of your head for the >> like I did I didn't even show it at all officer. This is what I'm trying to tell you. >> I don't know how I came before. If that's the case, they it was out enough and to the point where they were able to see it and just >> the teal the bottom part. >> They were able to describe this and the gun. >> How the whole deal >> it was out in a manner that's nothing to see. I guess I don't know. I wasn't here. >> I just based off statements. >> What happened? >> Either way, you would talk attorney and figure that part out. But at this time, you have to go just have to save the night in jail. >> I don't believe so. You just have to get booked. >> I breastfeed. I can't. My My bathing needs like beacons 8 hours. I I don't know how. What am I supposed to do? >> So, you're going to go down and get booked, talk to the jail. They'll be answer question about it for you. As soon as you're both my reports on it's not going to take me that long, you'll to get released. >> I have to post my bond. >> No, he he'll be able to do all of that. He'll he'll call a bond. It's It's 10%. I I do not believe so. I'm not going to tell you one certain no, but I'm almost certain because it's a misdemeanor offense that you don't need to. It's not considered a violent uh felony. You don't need to apologize to me. for people to see. >> I know you're what you're saying, but >> I promise you I didn't flip it with anybody. My shirt got stuck. >> But you can see how it looks, right? Where you just arguing. >> But I never have my babies with me. >> I hear you. But that's just that's the reason why. Okay. It has to be this way. You'll go down, you get booked, and you'll be able to get out. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry, but what Marley's not coming. Let me be home tonight. Mommy will be home tonight. Okay. >> I'm sorry about what? bar. >> All right. So, it's just a misdemeanor arrest. >> Have a bomb. >> The woman was charged with improper display of a firearm classified as a misdemeanor offense. Officers cited multiple witness statements describing visible exposure of the firearm during a dispute. The case proceeded through booking bond determination and standard court review. Remember, firearms, even when legally owned, must be handled with extreme care during emotional or confrontational situations. Lingering after a dispute while armed, can escalate a situation and lead to serious legal consequences. This is the reaction of netizens to this situation. Even accidental exposure of a gun can feel threatening in a public place. This situation could have been avoided by just leaving immediately. Anxiety isn't an excuse when kids and firearms are involved. Think this situation was already intense. The body cam catches a split-second decision that changes everything. Comment if you saw it coming. The next incident is when angry woman loses it. Chases 14-year-old on sidewalk with her car. >> God forbid you hit somebody. I promise you I'll do everything in my power to make sure you go to jail. you. He went away from me in here because he's afraid of me. >> On June 10th, 2025, a 14-year-old reports being chased by a woman in a car after riding his ebike too fast on a sidewalk. Deputies review video showing a vehicle following closely behind him. >> So, what's going on today? >> I don't know if you've seen the videos of the incident that's happened Saturday. >> I've not seen the videos. I tried to read up on the >> There was this lady trying to hit me. >> That is the voice of a teenager. And this >> the teen's parent demands charges calling the incident child endangerment and insisting the driver intentionally pursued the boy. >> Was their view as they rode their ebike down a sidewalk. That's a car following them. And Flagler County deputies say the woman behind the wheel was driving after him on purpose. >> She put my child in bed. >> I understand that. >> So, whatever it is, I don't care if we're stretching it to the back. >> The woman admits she chased the teen, claiming he nearly hit her and her dog days earlier and that she wanted to talk to him or find his parents. It's replaced. >> I also have a dog who I was throwing the ball up the squeaking toy for him. He wasn't in the street. This boy comes down on the sidewalk 35 miles an hour. I'm not kidding you. Two nights ago or in the evening, I'm on the street that goes along there. He comes right at me and I was like, "You have to slow down when people are here." >> He thought that was funny. So they go more. So then tonight, so I get my car to try to catch him because I thought he lived in the neighborhood. I wanted to either see where he lived to talk to his mother nicely or I wanted to talk to him nicely >> cuz I thought he was my neighbor. >> She justifies her actions by citing her age, medical issues, and fear of being seriously injured while minimizing the danger of driving on the sidewalk. >> No, he's guess what? He doesn't even live in here. >> So then I go after him to try to find him because I know you're never going to find him. And they're all like, "You're acting recklessly." I was like, "You don't even know what happened." First of all, if he hits me with two replaced hips and I can't walk anymore, because believe me, if I go down, I'm not walking anymore. That's going to be bad enough. If he hits my dog, you I don't know if you have a dog, but that's my child. And I would have called you actually. And then I went and got in the W's. I couldn't get out of the W's. Guess what? Because my GPS won't work. Come on. My phone's Do you want to come in the house? >> No. My phone is in the house. I couldn't even use my GPS to get out. Um, but let's put it this way. He could have disabled me for the rest of my life and he's probably what, 17? He would have gone home the rest of his life living a great life and I'd have been in a wheelchair or he would have hit my dog. And then >> deputies confront her with video evidence warning she could have killed the teen and explaining her car legally qualifies as a deadly weapon. >> I would have found him And they would have gotten ugly. >> What's your name? >> Julia. >> Julia. Okay. So, I got video of you driving up on the sidewalk recklessly. You would have hit that kid on a bike and killed him. You're going to jail for manslaughter. >> I'm not going to hit him and kill him. >> You're You're driving recklessly on the sidewalk that people walk their dogs and ride their bikes. That video of you doing almost 30 miles an hour up that sidewalk. >> I was trying to catch him. >> Ma'am, >> I'm listening. I'm listening. >> Cuz you're this close to going to jail. >> I'm listening. >> You understand? I understand you're concerned about kids drive. You call us. We do have >> The woman becomes emotional. Repeatedly acknowledging her behavior was stupid while still attempting to rationalize why she followed him. >> Best to find him. Right. You think 65 years old, right? You think it's a smart idea to be driving up on a sidewalk doing 30 miles an hour chasing a kid on a bike? Answer the question. >> I don't consider that a sidewalk. >> What do you consider? >> There's cars on there all the time. >> They're parked up on the grass so they can walk on the sidewalk. >> All right. do. I got you for at least 3 minutes >> up on the sidewalk driving recklessly over 30 miles an hour from what my reporting party told me. >> And you can see he was going faster than me. >> Do you still think you're correct? >> That's how you do it again. You are going to jail for taking >> I will never do it again. >> You understand what your actions? >> I do understand. I was very emotional. >> Okay. So maybe you think you collect yourself as a 65year-old woman about what you're doing. you would hit anybody else on that sidewalk besides this kid. If you didn't say there was no I I I'm not disagreeing with you, but I >> You're wrong for trying to >> make this sound correct on your end. >> Okay, you're 100% wrong. >> I won't. I'll stop. >> All right. You see something that you call us. You don't take it into your own hands. >> All right. You're right. >> God forbid you hit somebody. I promise you I'll do everything in my power to make sure you go to jail. >> You're right. >> Take your car and what else I can do for you. Officers clearly state she was 100% in the wrong, emphasizing that citizens must call police instead of taking enforcement into their own hands. >> Find out you're doing it again. Chasing this kid even on the road. >> Oh god, no. This was >> But it was a great idea to follow him on the sidewalk. >> No, like I said, I was It was like >> I hear what you said. >> I know. >> You're not I want you to listen. >> I'm listening. >> This kid does it again. You chase him in your car again, we'll get you for aggravated. That's all. >> Of course, I'm not going to. >> But you did it. I know. >> You were willing to chase this kid as far as it could go until this other car, this person that called us, stopped you >> or blocked you at the sidewalk. Correct. >> Yeah. >> Where does this make sense to you? >> Okay. It doesn't. >> Do you live alone? >> Yes. >> We're taking your car. You're not getting it back. You're losing your license. You're not driving if you get another car. No. >> I find out you do this again. You're this close to doing that. >> Of course not. Of course not. >> You're saying of course not, but look at your actions. It just happened. >> No, but >> 100% 110% you were going to jail if you hit this kid. >> I'm not disagreeing with you. >> So, I'm trying to understand where you thought this was the right thing to do. Tell me your emotions took over. >> So, should I put you in for a reevaluation of a driver's license now? >> I'm not trying to disagree with you. >> You're trying to make what you did sound correct. >> No, I'm not trying to sound correct. I'm telling you why I did it. I'm not saying it's right. >> I'm just trying to No, I'm not trying to excuse it. I'm trying to explain even though it was wrong why I did it. I didn't just like come out and say, "Oh, here. Let me go." You know, >> you weren't thinking. Wait, >> maybe not. >> No, not maybe not. You were not thinking. >> Okay, >> I'm laying into you right now cuz you could have killed multiple people on this side. It's dark. You're focused on this one kid riding the bike. I just You don't see anyone else on this sidewalk. Somebody would have called me and said, "You almost hit them with the car. I'm taking jail." If this kid calls us back, >> deputies explain the teen was likely terrified, highlighting the psychological impact of being chased by a multi-tonon vehicle. >> After he goes home, talks to his parents, I know where you're at. We'll probably take you to jail. It's aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Car's considered a deadly weapon. >> Touch him. >> Doesn't matter. Aggravated assault. Assault is not a physical contact. It's the threat of contact. >> Okay. >> Should I take you to jail now? >> No. >> Why not? I'm agreeing with you because it's not going to happen again. It's a stupid thing. I agree. >> It's preached all over I don't know if you're on social media, but our sheriff puts out do not engage in road rage in this reason. He doesn't know what you're about to do. So yeah, he's not going to stop. He's going to run away from you. >> So he again, if he calls us and his parents get in touch with us, >> I hear you. >> I don't think He went away from me in here because he was afraid of me. >> I 100% believe he was afraid of me. >> A 3 4,000lb vehicle is now chasing him. What do you think was going through his head? >> Well, the first time I came this way, he was coming up, you know, cuz I came around this way and I was like, you know, stop. I want to talk to you. >> No, he's not going to stop >> cuz he didn't want to get in trouble. Now, after that, who knows? I don't believe he's scared of me. I do not believe that. I think >> the teen and his father describe how close the car came to hitting him, reinforcing how easily the situation could have ended in serious injury or death. >> Any other video evidence? I don't know what you provided with Deputy Butler yesterday. Just what she took >> when she cut me off. Yeah. I swerved onto the street and I waved someone out. I'm like, "Hey, she just tried to hit me. Help me." >> Yeah. Um there was another guy, but she just almost hit All right. So, let me ask you, when she almost hit you, was she turning onto a street or >> just when she entered the bike path, right? >> No, she was already on the bike path. >> She was already on it. And she went up. >> Yeah. She went onto like on the grass section where there's enough room for a car to come by. She overtook me, cut me off, >> and that's when I got really, really scared because I literally could have died. She was really close to >> rode his bike since. >> Later, the officer came to her house to confirm all the information. >> Oh, you mind if you just step out? >> Are you arresting me? >> Well, I'm not saying that. We just have to talk. Okay. I have to read your rights before I question you, okay? Cuz I'm going to ask you incriminating questions with these rights. Are you willing to talk to me? >> Yes. Okay. So, when you were following him, did you ever get close to him? >> I don't think so. No, I couldn't catch up with him. >> So, you were trying to catch up to him >> enough that I could talk to him. Yeah. Tell him what I >> So, he's speeding away and you're continuing to follow him. Why would you just Why would you keep on following? I I just >> That was stupid. >> So, when you were on the sidewalk, did you ever like jump in front of him? Nothing. Nothing like that. And you didn't try to get in front of him before you started following him. >> Yeah. Before I started following >> or before you went on the sidewalk cuz that's the story I got that right before you hopped on the sidewalk or maybe as soon as it happened you kind of like try to cut him off. >> I tried to come around. I didn't try to cut him off. >> So you tried to go around him? You're saying? >> Okay. And what was your goal to going around him? >> Okay. How fast were you going >> when you were as fast as he was? I don't know. >> Okay. Okay. So, you were trying to catch up to him even though he's going pretty fast on a sidewalk with a bike. Okay. >> Okay. >> You understand where we're coming from here? >> I do. I do. >> Cuz it's it's ridiculous. I'm going to be honest with you. >> I I I feel that way, too. My And >> I can't disagree with you. It is ridiculous. >> Mhm. So, based on what we have now, I'm going to be making an arrest on aggravated assault and the reckless driving, too. Um based on everything that I have. Okay. So, >> I'm going to need you to turn around for me. I got >> We'll do that. We'll do We'll do all that after we'll do all that after. >> We can We can go in the door for you. Yep. That's fine. I'll give you that respect. >> And then I'll turn the AC on. >> Thank you, Gil. She is being arrested for aggravated assault and reckless driving. Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon vehicle. Reckless driving. Remember, taking the law into your own hands, especially with a vehicle, can instantly turn anger into a felony. A car used aggressively is treated as a deadly weapon regardless of intent. This is the reaction of nizens to this situation. Chasing a kid with a car over a bike is absolutely insane. No excuse for that. She kept saying she just wanted to talk, but that kid was running for his life. This is exactly why road rage laws exist. Someone could have died. You think this call can't get worse? The body cam captures the exact second officers rush in comment if you felt that spike. The next incident is when police rush in to stop woman attacking kids at the park playground. >> Yeah. On May 7th, 2023, officers stop a vehicle after Walmart reports suspected skip scanning. The mother pleads with police not to arrest her in front of her young daughter, saying this is the second time the child has witnessed it. >> He's sleeping cuz she's sick. >> Okay. >> I love you. >> Take care of there, ma'am. >> What you steal? >> I didn't take anything, man. I got my receipt. You >> got your receipt? Release. You don't have to call my mom, man. I mean, >> there is a warning. No, >> turn around. >> Man, can you please not do this in front of my daughter? Can I go that way a little bit? Come on, man. >> You can come back here. That's cool. >> No, you're good. >> I'll call your mom. >> Can I Can My phone's on the floor. Can you give it to me? The woman claims she paid for most items and insists her receipt is in her bag or wallet. While officers explain Walmart reported her passing points of sale with unpaid items. >> Where's it at? >> On the floor down there, ma'am. >> Yeah. Put your hands behind your back like you're praying. >> Is this her? >> This is her stuff. Her lighter. Her cigarettes. >> Yeah. My receipt's in my bag. Both. >> They said you did. >> But unfortunately, you got the warrant though, too. >> I know. What kind of theft did they advise it was? >> She just advised that she walked past items. They can call her back. >> She explains she used wick benefits for milk and bananas, left them at the register due to long lines and denies intentionally stealing anything. >> No, I had got >> I had bought some stuff, push my receipts in my bag, right? And then I had wick, but my put my milk down and just walked out with the rest of my stuff >> and my receipt. >> Is that your bag? Yeah, my receipt's right there in the bag. Everything I bought. >> Is it that bag right here? >> Yeah, some of them are my This is mine. And this is her and her pod back. >> Where she looking? Where's the receipt at? >> Actually, you know what, Bush? It's right there in my inside of my wallet on the inside. Like here, I'll show you real quick. I'm not going to >> show you. Yeah. >> Right there. >> I don't got nothing. >> What? She shot with Did they? >> Yeah. >> Oh my god. I wasn't with her at the check. >> Emotional phone calls follow as she arranges for family members to take custody of her daughter, repeatedly stating she didn't steal and that the arrest is due to her warrant. >> It's all right, baby. >> Yeah. my daughter chase real quick. >> She's scared, dude. >> I love you, baby. >> I'm sorry. >> I told you I didn't take >> I'm trying to get in contact with her. She also does have a Henry at the time of your agency for Walmart. >> I mean, this stuff >> everything good from what it says. >> Yeah. I mean, that's all her stuff. I have >> I know. Well, we're trying to call them and see exactly what they >> cuz I bought that stuff and then I went I had >> wiggle. >> I just set it to the side and came out. I didn't even get it. >> You're good. >> She at home? >> Yeah. >> I'm going to jail. >> You want >> the baby's with Jerara? I'm going to have Jared take her home to my mom. >> Is that what you said? because they said I stole something from Walmart when I went to get supper, but the cop just took my receipt and seen I didn't take anything but because of my warrant. >> Officers verify receipts and separate purchased items from unpaid merchandise while the woman admits she left without completing checkout. >> Sucks the way it >> Yeah, they just checked my receipt. Dude, I didn't take anything but because of my warrant and the baby's right here with Jara. My mom's not picking up the phone, man. Just have J have Jed come get her, man. >> I'll take her home. >> Or let Jarro take Let Jarro uh take her to the house. I'm going to have Jared take her home. >> But I got to go, man. >> You use them again? >> Yeah. I relapsed about a year ago. >> I can Look at your arms. >> I lost my best friend. David [ __ ] down here. >> Who? >> My cousin. I don't live here. >> Gota didn't die. >> Try your mom again. >> Yeah. I'm a baby, dude. You know what I'm saying? Sucks. You know me. My whole life, you know. >> Can I Yeah. Can I smoke a cigarette before I go? >> Grandma's going to trip. I've been taking Pepsi, bananas, and milk. Everything. >> Walmart staff claim a case of Pepsi was not paid for. The [snorts] woman argues she would never steal something so obvious and says it was a misunderstanding. >> Bananas and milk paid for. >> I put the bananas and milk dude on the thing and came out. I didn't even get it. Bush >> and the Pepsi. I bought that. I have another receipt. It should be in my thing. >> Bananas, milk, and me. >> Dude, I paid for I don't know. >> No, I know you paid for this. >> I paid for everything, man. and my bananas and my milk was on my wick and my wick card and I set it right there and took off out the door because I didn't >> Gotcha. Was there anything else that you left? >> No, I didn't want to wait in line, man. Because there was like six people ahead of me and I just had that. You know what I'm saying? So, I >> won't let you sit there, man. I ain't going nowhere. >> You can cover her up front. >> I promise I ain't running, man. I ain't going nowhere. I ain't trying to make worse. >> Just have her sit with the door open. You can cover up front. And then uh >> I everything I got I paid for, man. And then my milk and my bananas. I set it at the register I was standing at. I didn't even take anything. >> 703 and 698. We'll be back in. >> Before I walked out, she's like, "Can I see the receipt?" I said, "Yeah, right here's the receipt and what I paid for." Police continue verifying transactions, confirming some items were paid for while others were not properly scanned or purchased. >> She said, >> "We're all set." >> She said I had to go to the regular register to pay for my wig cuz it was milk and bananas and I get wig for my daughter. So I was like, "All right." And then I went and there was like six people ahead of me. So I just left it at the thing and I just grabbed my scoop and left. Man. >> So you bought that stuff like prior? >> Yeah. And then I went to the selfch checkout and bought that. And then I had didn't know I couldn't use my wig at the selfch checkckout, man. So I grabbed my wig and she was like, I had to go wait in line. So I was like, okay, that's fine. And I went and waited in line. There was like six people ahead of me. I'm like, man, I'm not trying to wait. I got to go home and cook, you know, and I'm not going to steal my daughter, man. >> No, I understand. >> I'm already in enough, dude. >> Yeah. No, he's calling. He'll sort it out here. >> I mean, you know, this is traumatizing enough to my daughter. This is the second time she's seen me get locked up. The first time she was 2 months old, dude. By the time I got out, my daughter didn't even know who I was. But I got an 8-year-old son that's about to turn nine next week. I mean, I've been battling with addiction entire life. I was 17 years old. I'm 29. >> Where'd you put the bananas and milk? They said >> register that I was at it. I just said it on top of >> They said she said that uh she said the bananas and milk at the register. They said you stole the Pepsi, though. >> No, I paid for that. I got another receipt in my wallet. It's in my wallet or I threw it, dude. honestly. And man, if I'm going to steal something, dude, I'm not going to steal no damn stuff. You know what I'm saying? >> Walmart requests a theft report while officers note her existing warrants make arrest unavoidable regardless of the disputed items. >> This is >> Yeah. >> Am I free to go take her? >> Hold on. Let me >> I'm trying not to smoke in the car. >> I got you. Walmart. That's garlic salt. >> Here's a receipt. Look, >> that's the one I just looked at. Did you buy anything, Jar? I have the Pepsi, but the bananas and milk are not here. >> She did not pay for the Pepsi cuz she's claiming she did. >> Oh, all right. I didn't see that. Or >> Okay. >> Oh, it's a case of Pepsi. I thought it was just a little Pepsi. Like a single can. I ain't going to steal no case of Pepsi. >> Yeah. >> Come on, man. I got bigger fish to fry right now. >> I don't see it on here. >> Well, I can't like not a scan, >> but they got to double check. >> All right, let me grab I got the I mean, she has warrants anyways for some other thefts from you guys. So, I'll grab I got the Pepsi here. Um, and yeah, if you guys could just drop off the report, I guess, for the theft of the Pepsi, if that's what you guys want to do. Okay. Yeah. To see exactly what happened. Okay. All right. Perfect. Sounds good. We'll give you a call here shortly once we figure out what we're doing with her cuz she's got her kid with her, too. So, we'll give you a call, though. How you feel? >> Thank you for being cool with me. >> You're being cool with us. >> I appreciate it. >> Is that good? otherwise. >> I'm going to jail. Huh? >> Yeah. >> For now, I'm just going to go back to your fingerprints. Um, take a picture and then um for right now it's just the um just the warrant. Um Bush is going to talk to Walmart right now. >> What warrant? >> Um I don't know. We'll get a copy of that and I'll let you know. >> All right, let's go. Are those my charges? >> Yeah, it's just theft. that time. Two thefts >> from when? >> Um May 3rd [snorts] and May 4th. And then you have a a warrant through the county. >> Through the county? >> Yep. Hands on back. >> What do you mean through here or? >> Yeah, through Sunduski County. >> For what? >> I have no idea. Their warrant has no bond on it though. >> Is it through here or is it through Clyde? >> Sunduski County isn't Clyde. >> I have a warrant here for >> but I don't know what Sunduski County's warrant is. Um, I do. You also have a warrant through us. It must be for theft, but I don't know. >> I know I have a warrant for you guys through theft, but I don't know what the other warrant would be for. >> The woman is taken into custody on theft charges and outstanding warrants while arrangements are finalized to ensure her child is safely picked up by family.
