You think you're a [ __ ] cop and you can [ __ ] talk to me like that? You little [ __ ] I was [ __ ] cool. I didn't say a [ __ ] thing. DON'T GET IN MY FACE [screaming] CUZ YOU DON'T [ __ ] KNOW ME. >> THIS IS 46-year-old Kristina Laboy. She could have walked away with a simple warning, but she chose to turn it into an arrest after allegedly hurling racial slurs at officers, kicking, using profanity, physically resisting, making racial threats, and accusing officers of sexual harassment. On February 23rd, 2024, at around 3:02 a.m., Palm Beach deputies pulled over a driver who was swerving between lanes at over 100 mph. >> Hi. How you doing? >> I am so sorry. Like I'm just trying to go back to my hotel and I know I was speeding. I'm so sorry. >> your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance? >> Um I think it's in my purse. >> Where you coming from? Huh? >> I was at an Airbnb where my son is at. He plays football, so I'm here. >> Uh-huh. >> So, we're here for his 7-on-7 football team. >> Okay. >> And I came from where they're staying and I'm going back to my place. >> Okay. You have your driver's license, registration, insurance? >> I do, but I think it's in the back. >> In the back where? >> Can I get out and look or >> You don't know where it is? >> I thought it was here, but it is not. Oh, here it is. I'm sorry, here it is. It fell on the floor. Oh my god, please. Like I'm I just want to get back to my Airbnb. >> The woman told the officer that she had come to the area with her son for 7-on-7 football and was now in a hurry to get back to their Airbnb. However, the officer noticed that she appeared visibly anxious when he began asking her about whether she had been drinking. Her behavior raised even more questions. >> Well, how much have you had to drink tonight? >> I did have a glass of wine. I'm not going to lie. >> A glass of wine? >> I did. Yes. >> And how long ago was that? >> An hour ago. >> [cheering] >> All right, you have your registration and insurance? >> Um this is a rental. >> Rental, you have the rental agreement? I'm sorry? >> But please don't like >> Well, I mean you're going well over 100 mile an hour. You didn't even realize you passed me and you're swerving all over the road. So, I mean it's kind of a problem right now. >> No, I know. It was more that I was looking at the GPS trying to figure out where I was going. >> The woman, identified as 46-year-old Christina Laboy, appeared to be intoxicated. The officer decided to conduct a field sobriety test to determine whether she was fit to drive. >> All right, Christina, can you step out for me? Is the car in park? >> Yes, it is. >> All right, we're going to go right up here. >> Oh my god. Okay. >> Right to the front of your car. All right, this is what I need to be in your face, so all I want you to do is follow the tip of your pen. Arms down, feet together. Just follow the tip of the pen with your eyes only, okay? >> Yeah. >> You got to keep your head still for me. >> My head was still. >> No, you're you're turning your head. Just follow the pen only. Arms down your side. >> Okay. >> Christina appeared to be doing but the officer wanted to conduct a more thorough evaluation. He decided to have her perform the walk and turn test. >> All right, go ahead. You can begin the task if you understand it or you don't have any questions. >> got it. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Turn around, right? 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 >> Okay. All right, go ahead. Put your arms down to your side. And you can go ahead and start if you understand the task. >> 1 1,000 2 1,000 3 1,000 4 1,000 5 1,000 6 1,000 7 1,000 8 1,000 9 1,000 10 1,000 11 1,000 31,000 41,000 31,000. I'm sorry. 31,000 >> ahead and put your foot down. >> After the test, the officer determined that Christina was still impaired and not safe to drive. He warned her not to get behind the wheel and asked her to call someone who could drive her home. >> All right. So, here's the deal. Is there someone that can come pick you up? >> Um >> You got someone that can pick you up? >> My son can. >> Your son can pick you up? He hasn't been drinking tonight? >> No, my gosh, no. >> Okay. All right, here's the deal. Okay? Even though you argued with me all the way down here >> I didn't argue with you. >> You told me you were being >> But I didn't >> investigated for DUI because you're white. >> I I said that, but I didn't argue with you. >> I mean, that's kind of >> But I didn't argue with you, but I did say that. >> Mhm. So, even though all that happened okay? I don't think you're impaired to the point that I could arrest you, but you are impaired enough that I'm not going to let you drive away from here. So, if you want to call your son and have him come pick your car up, pick you up, I will allow that to happen. What I will say is once you get to your hotel, okay, and he leaves you there, don't take your car out again. >> I I mean, I I have no reason. I'm only here for my son. He plays football. Like, there's no other reason for me to be here. >> Okay. >> Yeah, there >> Where is your >> phone? >> In my car. >> All right. >> Or in my rental car. >> All right. I'm going to go and grab your phone, call your son. >> From there, the situation escalated into a lengthy argument with the deputies. Christina went on a rant about the deputies' race, referenced George Floyd, and repeatedly insulted the female deputy. >> I don't know if it's a black and white factor here, cuz you guys play that card. Not in front of me. >> You don't You don't even know who was pulling you over. It could have been anybody. So, how do you play that card? >> But now that you did, now that you did, I know. >> That's so disrespectful on so many levels. You don't know >> It is background. >> For you to say that to him. And for you to say that to me. You don't know my background. You don't know his background. >> all, I wasn't talking to you. >> I don't care. You're talking to my partner. Let's get that first fact. >> Listen. Second of all, when he says you slide, he should have wrote you a bunch of tickets. So, both >> Yeah, don't go out on the road. >> I'll sit down in the car. I'm going to record all of it. >> You can record, but we're not going to argue on the side of >> I did not disrespect you for a second. I did not. >> Okay. >> And she wants to jump in? No. >> No matter. >> No. I'm going to record it. >> Everything here is recorded. The whole interaction has been recorded, okay? >> that's fine. George Floyd, yep. Mhm. Are you on your way? I'm I'm going to tell you what. This [ __ ] little mother [ __ ] has Like, I said nothing to them. And this this little [ __ ] wants to talk to me? >> Hey. The cop. Oh, yeah. This this She's like, "You don't know me what I've been through." And literally in my face literally in my face pointing fingers. So, I I need to know the address where you're at, LJ. >> As time passed, Christina's demeanor became increasingly aggressive. Despite her growing hostility, the officers remained calm and continued trying to handle the situation professionally. >> Why don't you get back in my face like you were before? What happened with that? >> No, why was she in my face like that? >> Can you stop? >> No, but why were you in MY FACE LIKE THAT? >> Give your son the address where you're at. >> Oh, he's going to come. >> So, he can come here and get you. >> BUT DON'T GET IN MY FACE LIKE THAT. >> SHE'S NOT IN YOUR FACE. >> SHE WAS, THOUGH. >> CAN YOU STOP? >> SHE [ __ ] WAS, THOUGH. >> MA'AM. >> YOU DON'T [ __ ] KNOW ME, [ __ ] I WAS [ __ ] COOL. I DIDN'T SAY A [ __ ] THING. DON'T GET IN MY FACE [screaming] CUZ YOU DON'T [ __ ] KNOW ME. YOU THINK YOU'RE [ __ ] COP AND you can [ __ ] talk to me like that, you little [ __ ] I'm recording cuz I don't give a [ __ ] Make sure you have her cuz listen, I don't [ __ ] with nobody. I HAVE A GOOD [ __ ] HEART. I DON'T [ __ ] WITH NOBODY, BUT DON'T GET IN MY FACE LIKE THAT, YOU [ __ ] NO, YOU DIDN'T. DID YOU HAVE THAT WHEN SHE WAS IN my face? Did Did you Did you have that when she was in my face? LJ, come get me cuz I'm going to No, she was literally in my face talking [ __ ] She doesn't know me. She's a killer and what I've been through. [ __ ] YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH. >> Christina remained defensive throughout the interaction. She then began making comments about immigration and race, claiming that she was being stopped because she was a white American. >> And I'm so sick of these [ __ ] You know what? Cuz I'm [ __ ] white. You want to play the [ __ ] black card? Cuz I'm white and this cop is black. That's what it is. And his [ __ ] whatever she's [ __ ] Spanish, talking [ __ ] to my face. In America, you're the minority as a white woman in this [ __ ] in America. Dumb immigrants here and you can get every [ __ ] thing you want. They pulled me over cuz I'm white, that's why. Cuz I'm [ __ ] white in America, that's why. >> At this point, the officer had no choice but to arrest Christina. She was intoxicated and her behavior had crossed the line, but as the officer placed her in handcuffs, her attitude suddenly changed, becoming even more aggressive. >> I have your license. For these stupid [ __ ] that want to check everything cuz like, you know, you're you're a Sorry, you're American in America. Why don't you keep your mouth shut cuz you're recording me? I know you're recording me, but did you get her talking [ __ ] to me? That little [ __ ] I'll [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] I'll [ __ ] on you, little douchebag. >> and that's fair. Go ahead and put the phone down. >> No, listen. Let me just talk to my son, please. I'm on the phone. Please, stop. Just stop. All right, no, stop. >> Turn around. Turn around. Christina, turn around. >> Just stop. >> Turn around. >> Okay. Where's my phone? All right, it's fine. >> Turn around like he asked you to. >> Can I Just let me talk to my son. >> As the police placed Christina in the patrol car, she began accusing the officer of sexual harassment, but things quickly escalated when she physically resisted, kicked at the officer, and continued behaving aggressively, adding even more charges to the list. >> Just give me my phone. Where's my phone? >> Your phone's going to go with you. >> No, where is my phone? >> Have a seat. >> Just give me my phone.
