On April 16th, [music] 2025, loss prevention at a Florida Dillards watched a woman stuff over $1,000 worth of swimsuits into a bag, rip off the tags, [music] and try to stroll out as she'd paid. When confronted, she played dumb and victim until the cuffs came out and the merchandise started falling out of her clothes. >> So, this is the deal. She sealed over $1,000 worth of stuff in a bag. She taking it all out when she was approved. The problem is is we were just trying to be nice and going to get all our stuff back, but we're still missing items and she's acting like I mean she works here or something. The store employees had already heard ripping sounds in the fitting room and knew exactly what was up. This wasn't her first rodeo and everyone in the room knew it. >> They're very easy to fall off and so there's I know that there's like nine pairs of each in the bottom. I guarantee you there's at least two with those. >> I ma'am I looked before we wasted your time because there are work lurking. She kept blaming the rude employee for freezing her up, as if the only reason she got caught was that someone dared to call out her theft instead of politely looking the other way.
