And so at at that time the dispatcher said, "Well, well don't go near the residence. You know, stay back in a safe area." Time while I was talking with her a gentleman walked out uh of the of the trailer. But he stopped uh by the blue car there, picked up a box which kind of looked about the size of a a soda can box. Thomas had previously been accused of violently attacking the couple, and [music] relatives say they repeatedly warned the system that releasing him placed them in danger. By the time those warnings were taken seriously, two lives had already been lost.
