He wants to play the victim right now, but I've spent six years being abused by him. So, go ahead, listen to his mine. It's been 6 years. You can call my mom. I've Yeah, I've called you guys multiple times and I've been let down every somebody else, which you know what? I don't have any remorse. I don't care. The way he feels, he deserves because he made me feel like that for 6 years. On August 21st, 2023, Florida police arrested Ashley after a heated domestic violence call. Despite being the longtime victim, she was the one handcuffed. Her emotional breakdown, raw confessions, and shocking truth about years of abuse exposed how the system often fails women who finally fight back. What happened next would change everything for both of them. So, the situation, he called on me, because we got into an argument, an altercation, and I ripped his necklace off of him while he threw me onto the bed and had his hand in my mouth. He's got scratches on him. He wants to play the victim right now, but I've spent six years being abused by him. So, go ahead, listen to his story. Last time you guys came, I was bake because he [ __ ] I'm not recording anything cuz he drove me soing insane that I lost my mind. It's been 6 years. You can call my mom. I've Yeah, I've called you guys multiple times and I've been let down every sweetie, you got to try to calm down. All right. I just got here. I don't know what's going on. You trying to explain it, but I'm believe it or not, you're all over the place. All right, I know I am. Let's start with one thing at a time. What's your name? Ashley. Ashley. All right, Ashley. Who is he to you? My boyfriend, baby daddy. And I have to pick my kids. How many kids you guys have together? Two. Just two. Hello. They're at school. They're at school right now. What time they get out of school? 3:30. I have to get 3:30. All right. All right. One thing at a time. All right. Where is he? He's inside. Hi. On the phone with some cop, okay? All right. What's up, man? Do me a favor. I get away from her. No, no, just wait. Just wait over there for me. All right. I'm going to come talk to you, but just wait over there for me. [Music] Okay. What's up, dude? What's this? This ain't me, man. I couldn't get out of my house. Okay. This is the outcome. What happened? What happened? I'm not She snatched my phone out of my hand. went through all my [ __ ] didn't it? Nothing. No, no. Go, no, no. Go from the beginning for me cuz this is as this is an ongoing thing. I had her bakered 3 months ago, two months ago. I should have left, didn't leave cuz I'm stupid. Whatever. Long story short, she was other dudes. Blah blah blah. I sat here for 5 months like a little [ __ ] like I was. I said, now we're here. Okay, I can't no more. I'm trying I was trying to What happened? What happened today? I want you to start from the beginning to end. I was sitting in my bed. She snatched my phone cuz I said, "I'm already over." She snatched it as soon as I said that. Started going on Instagram, Facebook. No, there's nothing on it. I don't talk to women. I don't talk to any of them. She wouldn't let me out of my bedroom door. I punched my TV, threw my lamp, grabbed her, put her on the bed, let me the out of the house, and started walking out. Grabbed my shirt, grabbed my neck, grabbed my $2,000 chain broken off my neck. I got She grabbed and slammed. What? No. Grab it. She what? She grabbed it off of me as I was trying to again. Ended up back in the bedroom stuck. And then I have her on video trying to pop my tires on my muscle. So she slammed you inside of the house. I'm back in the room. She pulled I ended up trying to walk outside the room. I could not get out of my house is why my TV is broken. After six long years of emotional and probably physical torment, she lost it. She told the cops straight up, "He threw her, put his hand in her mouth, and she ripped his chain." For many women, the cops show up after the damage is done, or worse, take you instead. The boy admitted to punching his TV, throwing a lamp and grabbing her, but somehow he painted himself like the victim. Seriously, bro, you're not the one hurting. You're the one hurting her. That was $500 because you guys broke up. No, I don't know. Wait, no, you told you said you're over. I said I'm already over. Very stupid. Anyway, [Music] I'll go to jail. If I go to jail, my job. So, it's up to you what you want to do. Is it honestly not up to me? believe both both of these are all the marks on both of us are self. We're arguing. They're both shoving each other. So they're all scratch marks. Then he shoved me in the bed and I grabbed his necklace. Yes. Six years I've been dealing with his [ __ ] Okay. All right. If I'm going to be the one to get whatever. So Ash, it's not up to me. I take both sides of the story, which I just did, right? [Music] I tell you both sides of the story. He's stuck. I'm I was Nobody's stuck for years. Nobody's stuck. Both of you guys can honestly leave. Wait. Neither one of us can even afford this. This is the cheapest thing. We are stuck. No, you're not. You You don't have to be with them. I had everything. I had I was going to go stay at a domestic shelter with my kid. You going to hang out with him real quick? Yeah. Yeah. 14. I got it. I got it. Okay. I I two months ago I had everything set up. me and my kids were going to go stay in a shelter and he made me believe that he was going to change and he didn't I'm aiding [ __ ] right his problem is we broke up for like 5 months, but we were still in the house together. But I made it clear. I said, "We're not together. I want you. I want my space. Get away from me." I was sleeping on the couch that we would he would take me up because if I didn't, it was it was just not good. Okay. And then the cops told me that I was conditioning him into thinking it was okay. Ashley, I'm going be real with you now. You know what the cops say sounds something I would say because when you enable somebody when you're when it's 6 years of abuse that's repetitive. How is it meond conditioning him? Because I gave every time so you're telling me that I made it okay for him to tell me 20 different times that I'm either going to Their stories matched but not in a good way. Both admitted they shoved, pushed, and screamed. He wanted her gone. She wanted peace, but neither of them left. Why? Because they were trapped financially, emotionally, and mentally. Ashley had tried to leave and even planned to go to a shelter, but he made fake promises like all toxic partners do. Or he's going to go [ __ ] somebody else or he's going to treat me like [ __ ] until I just lay there and take it. No, no, no. That's conditioning. No, no. This is what I'm saying. You allowed that. I did allow it. So that's the only only blame. Is that what you tell everybody though? Because you know many people just do it cuz they're scared. Ashley. Ashley. Ashley. I'm telling you. I'm not telling everybody. I'm telling you. But you did. You allowed it. I allowed it for six years. I You allowed him to disrespect you. I did for six years. I allowed it. And I've had every single person. I don't care what he doing. You be having the grown men. I've been told by every single person over the last six years to leave him and now because we broke up for five months and I somebody else which you know what I don't have any remorse. I don't care. The way he feels he deserves because he made me feel like that for 6 years. Okay. So I shouldn't have to feel bad for doing something while I was single. But I do because I don't want him to be hurt. But it's like him, he did this to me and we weren't even together. And I tried to sit here and understand like I get it. Like you're upset. I get it. It bothers you. But like I'm not doing anything. I get it right. And then he just told me he was someone else. Like what the am I not supposed to freak out? I'm going be honest with you. You guys are toxic. No [ __ ] No. You guys are toxic. That's not good for you. He bought that car. I told him to buy whatever the car he wanted so that when we separated, I wasn't left without a vehicle. And he bought the most expensive car he could find. So now we can't afford to be separate because he's $600 for a car. $500 for your production. Yes. And then it's almost $300 for the insurance. I pay $1,100 for the school. He doesn't help me pay for it. All right, Ashley. I'm going to be honest with you, man. You got to roll with me. Okay. What? You have to roll with me. Okay. All right. I have to go with you. Yeah. Am I arrested for right now? You're detained for I'm going to lose my job. You won't lose. I can't. Can you call them? If I get a domestic charge, no matter how good of a person I am, where do you work? Let me ask. I am a fish for rehab. I answer the phone and put people in rehab all day. Okay. You don't have to tell them you were arrested. I do. I was going to show up and from where? I don't know. I don't How do you want to show up? One of our people in Ohio got into a fight with his girlfriend and she was the aggressor. They have a long history of it. He stood there for 5 years. They love him and they had to fire him. I What do you mean? You said you're going to come back and get him later so he I can I can give I can give him a written thing what happened by the time you get released. Can I be the one that by the time he get released? He's the felon. I have no Ashley owned her part. Said she allowed it. That hit hard. When someone's been abused for years, they start believing they deserve it. She wasn't just fighting emotions. She was battling survival. If you're watching this, listen. Money ties are chains, too. Build your bank account, hide some cash, and make a backup plan. This world is cruel to people trying to leave, especially women. You not you [ __ ] Mom. Ashley. Ashley. They're taking me to jail. They're letting Scott stay. And I don't know who's getting it, my kids. It's my fault, though. That's mom. You want me to talk to mom? All right. Hello, mom. Hello, mom. Hey, this deputy done by what's going on. She got to get booked. She postponed or the judge by the time she get there, the judge will probably get her pret. Okay, that's the main. Yeah. First. Yeah. I hear that. Maybe she should have popped him harder. But however, that's not And and and and again, you're speaking to the crowd. I kind of told her what she's doing wrong. She allowed the man to do that to her. Get the door off. All right. But that but that's what's going on. Yeah. Bring it inside, Scott. Bring it inside. All right. So that's what's going on. Okay. But again, this is Yeah. I'm coming. I'm coming with you. Yeah. Scott, I got to ask you. I know. Stupid question cuz you guys love each other. You guys want to press charges? I don't want to cost you. Mind if I take pictures of your injuries? Yeah. You know, it's all for the state cuz she got to go. It's up to the She's got to go where? She got to go to jail, man. She's going to jail. Yeah. Because how state how the state of Florida works and everybody's in domestic. You know what I mean? It's a sticky situation. Now I'm stuck to how the state attorney. You get what I'm saying? So that's what's happened. She going to lose the job. Should we not? She she Well, it's at this point it's it's too late. You get what I'm saying? I don't care. All right. Um, Ashley looked exhausted as she smoked her last cigarette before getting booked. Not just from the night, but from everything. 6 years of giving, forgiving, hoping, gone. Sometimes jail isn't the punishment, it's the wakeup call. If your relationship feels like jail, get out before you need bars to free you. You don't need to burn out to walk away.
