on September 29th 2024 officers were called to respond to an incident at a bar on Duval Street the security staff at the bar had alerted the authorities about a man trespassing on the property I just want my wallet Dude where's your wallet she has it I went literally went to her and asked my wallet okay and they punched me in the face I watch Punch Yeah they you did not watch me take it his wallet and you're going to go home you're going go away on pleas go away go away you're going You're Going recognizing the increasing hostility the officers decided to push the subject back in order to maintain a safe distance between them at this point the man's friend who was also at the scene attempted to intervene by trying to calm him down she urged him to move away from the situation hoping to prevent further escalation I am walking away put your hand behind your back put your hand behind your back away giving you play no ST me the hand back get back put your hand behind your back come on vacation leave probation [ __ ] hey hey hey stand up I just want to go home I want to go to my w the subject continued to shout and resist any attempts to remove him from the area his frustration evident in his raised voice and erratic Behavior the man physically resisted their efforts he pulled away from their grasp making it difficult for the officers to restrain him I just want to go my wall I want my wallet sort ofly cond pretty sure I lost my ear go get it please my wallet turn your car on real quick yeah okay search that side of it is this your phone yes ma'am and a wallet dude on take a seat I'm going to go s my what throughout the struggle the situation remained tense with the gathered crowd witnessing the entire interaction some visibly disturbed by the man's behavior and the actions being taken to control him you were offended by his action were you offended by his action what's your name boss right TR everything else Tres were you any of you were you to offended At their discomfort and offense at the subject's conduct further highlighting the impact his behavior had on the public switch cars all right step out for me uh up here excuse me sge oh sorry go take a situation obviously escalated take home at this point it's too late so that's once you put hands on either way like he pushed our officer what what happened though um he was in the bar I guess you had his wallet he was walking he was told to leave I guess he was acting up in the bar he said I just want my wallet and I was end of the bar and want down started trying to get and then well he started screaming F you things like that so A Crowd started coming around the officer told him you need to leave just go ahead we were trying and I tried to help him out but at that moment it was as too much not your fault and that's what sometimes when you drink especially with your jobs you know it might come out a little bit differently depending on who the person is so he's going to go to the jail after the search of his belongings was completed the subject was transported to the police station for further investigation into the incident going to have first appearance in the morning so what will happen is the judge Sunday no the the judge uh Sunday so this morning Sunday morning they'll they'll have a Jud there and they'll go ahead and read him his charges and then they'll set his bond okay where that's okay he's at um the Monro County detention center it's the only jail we have in the lower Keys it's on stck island so basically like if you do you know any of the roads down here okay it's it's the only jail down here but you can't if you go out there it's you're not going to be able to see him you're not going to be able to do anything tonight okay so what I would do off I'm sorry is it going to fight I mean your husband seems to calm down now I don't I can't say what's going to happen when he you know in the car when he gets to the jail a vetan I'm sorry [Applause] it's okay it's okay is not walk people out because some guy was going to rob them today he's very he's very good he really is that take a de you guys can deal with it in the morning okay he's going to see coin right I went down the alley and a bunch of Alabama FS kicked the [ __ ] out of me when I was walking back they said roll bulldog and I said roll Tide and they junk the [ __ ] out of bean and then the next thing I knew I had a bunch of dudes carry me out with my knees burned out I have no idea what the going on dude I don't know what the happened there's a bunch of Bama fans kicking the [ __ ] out of me dude I had a bunch of dam fans skiing the [ __ ] out of me and then cops carry me to the station just insult to injury I don't even know what the happened I just want to go home to my son my wife tried to grab my pH waled it from him but they didn't let her they push her away she's Colombian my Colombian wife tried to columber her s from them sir I go to my wife and go home and go to sleep and go home out of your wild your Islands dude I don't care Flagler Island do ke West Florida 3 I just want to go home dude I didn't have that money like I was going home and they arrested me because I was going home because I had too many scrapes on my my knees I just want to able to walk at my to my home dude okay have to go home sir I just want to go home dude I don't care where my home is I just want to go home at my check electrum because I got my masck because of Georgia beat Alabama at football dude and I was rooting for Alabama and a bunch of Georgia fans came in and beat the [ everything that happen so if he's apologetic and fine on the way there he can add that in his affidavit and that will go long way I meing him he was so it's not going to happen got to take a course there he is then a bunch of people tackled me and beat the [ __ ] out of me Steph I was at the bathroom and they beat the [ __ ] out of me Steph they beat the [ __ ] out of me at the bathroom Steph they beat the [ __ ] out of me at the bathroom the bathroom bathroom they beat the [ __ ] out of me at the bathroom bath tea dude let's get my ass kicked by a bunch of guys from University Alabama how conduct and resisting an officer these charges stem from his aggressive behavior during the incident including shouting in public resisting arrest and failing to comply with the officer demands if you
