On June 9th, 2025, officers were called to a disturbance at a bar. They arrived to find a highly intoxicated and defiant woman. She repeatedly ignored commands to leave and instead called other police departments for help. The officers on the scene were stuck with the events that were about to unfold. Ma'am Uh-huh. has been harassing me. Which man? What man? Okay, who is that you? >> Euclid Lyndhurst Lyndhurst His mom owns the establishment next door. He keeps going and drinking and disturbing me. How is he disturbing you? Um trashing me and saying things and every time he comes out he's wasted. Okay. And he's driving drunk. Where is he now? He went that way. Okay. So he's probably going to go to Fox's or Gilbert's next. So Fox's is right next to police station and Gilbert's is catty-corner. I'm frustrated with him because he keeps harassing me, violating me every time I'm out in public. I was at this establishment earlier. I left, hung out with a friend. Mhm. I'm not driving. >> he was here? Yes. >> When you left? And he keeps doing this. So it's when you're up here? Yeah. And right over there his mom's establishment. Which one? >> And he's harassed me. Maguire's. Okay. >> And he's harassed me saying "Don't talk to people this and that." And like >> his mom owns the bar, why go in there? I didn't go in there because it's his mom's bar. I went in there because I have friends, but I haven't gone there in a month. Okay. So I'm saying tonight, when I'm at this establishment, the people I grew up with Mhm. he's yelling at me, screaming at me. And I was minding my own business. Why don't you um talk to this officer for a second? I'mma go >> Okay. >> inside the bar. Yeah. Hi. How's it going? >> Good. Come on in. The girl outside banging. >> crazy. Yeah. What happened? She's She was sitting here all night. There was just like four people down there. They were being loud and she just kept making comments like, "Oh, they're so obnoxious. They're so loud." Like we're in a bar. Yeah. So she said something. I don't know. I don't remember what she said and one of the guys was just like, "Okay, we're getting out of here." And she's like, "Good. Leave, you know." So they were just kind of But she kind of initiated that? >> Yeah. Okay. All right, cuz she's saying >> But they left. I mean, as soon as she did, they were like, "Let's just get out of here." >> Yeah, cuz she's saying it's the other way around and it's some guy that she knows that harasses her. >> No. Okay. It's not that at all. Okay. She seems very >> Yeah, she I I've seen her come in a couple times and I've seen her different places and I mean, I'm a bartender. I can kind of catch a vibe. Yeah, she's a little little off. I'll just say that. But none of them came up and spoke to her before that or anything. >> were at the total end of the bar. She just kept mumbling, "Oh my gosh, they're so loud. People are so annoying." And I wanted to tell her then, "Why don't you just Yeah. All right. Well, I appreciate you. Glad I caught you before you Thank you. You too. So Megan, where's your Uber at? Do you know? Did you look? >> Oh, they were 3 minutes away, but I had to cancel. >> No, they called me. I had to cancel it because of him. >> So did you call another one? Yeah, I will, but I want to make sure he's not driving around. >> Well, let's deal with you first and let's get you out of the Yeah, I'm going to go home, but I want to make sure he's not driving off Okay. to say Fox's or Scalpers. That has nothing to Yeah, well, that's South Euclid Lyndhurst police. No. >> only South Euclid police. Well, that's sad. That's sad because, you know what? In Shaker and University Heights, they mix. Okay. So I'm just saying this man is driving drunk up the road right now. Ma'am And that's disgusting. Stop talking and listen. I just need you to order your Uber so we can get you home. Your job is to not let people drive drunk. And he is driving drunk in our community right now. Well, unfortunately, we can only deal with road problems at this time. >> Unfortunately, we can only deal with physical people walking. And that's it cuz he went that way and he's up at the bar in Lyndhurst. So it's disgusting to me that a police officer only has authority to deal with this circumference. Like I'm not even drunk to say you guys are doing a disservice to the community because this man drives smashed. He was [ __ ] smashed and he screamed at me. And all I did was sit there waiting for my Uber. You're going to let someone smashed go up the street and possibly kill somebody because they didn't do anything. No, that's disgusting. Yeah, I'm calling South Euclid police. I'm getting a ride up there. Nobody's going to give you a ride. They're drunk driving.
