[music] [music] Heat. Heat. >> [music] >> Heat. [music] Heat. >> [music] >> Hello everybody. Whoops. Happy Thursday. Uh let's see. What do I have today? I've got a uh lady who won't leave a hotel and goes I I don't know. I think something's off with her. Um either that or she's just got a lousy attitude. I have uh two chases. Uh one is a sovereign citizen sort of. I mean she says a few sovereign citizen type things and uh leaves her dog behind. Uh that was kind of scary. And then there's another chase that's on a stretch of road down in South Georgia that I know very very well. It's a big drug corridor between uh Florida and South Carolina. And then I've got a couple other uh drunk guy at a restaurant and uh a lady who gets serenated while she's freaking out in the street fighting with police. She gets serenated by an ice cream truck. This it gets kind of annoying cuz the ice cream truck for whatever reason just sits there on the block. Uh so the music just goes on and on and on. H I wanted ice cream for the first couple minutes and then after about 10 minutes I'm like just get the hell out of here, dude. [laughter] All right. Um, we're going to get started with the lady at the hotel. Um, apparently the hotel wanted her to pay, which is weird. I don't know why. I've never had to pay at a hotel. No, I'm kidding. Of course, you have to pay. I usually prepay at a hotel, though. I've never had them call the room and say, "We need payment." They usually just lock you out of your room. But anyway, that's what happened to this lady. >> Ma'am, you okay? Man, >> you go. >> What are you doing? >> Okay. >> Hi. >> Hello. She called about someone. >> Yeah. No, it gets until 13. She's refusing to pay and refusing to leave. while she was refusing to pay. >> She just says she don't want to pay. >> My boss. >> Hello. >> So, you got somebody that's doesn't want to. >> She's a bit strange. Um, >> she what? >> She's a little strange. I don't know. The conversation I had with her, she's like, you do whatever the you want to do. >> I said, I'm just trying to get payment because >> you paid up till 10th. >> However, we need payment moving forward and your card is currently declared. So, it's our just doing our due diligence. Uh, >> and so she's like, >> "You do what you have to do." >> Okay. >> All right. Well, >> I said, "I'm I'm" She hung up on me the first time. Okay, no problem. I'm very patient. >> All right. >> I said, "Ma'am, I'm >> Colin. What's up? >> Just trying to get payment. >> That's all I'm trying to do. >> Your your reservation is still Sunday, >> but I don't think she's going to pay." >> Well, so if she's not going to pay, obviously you want it gone. >> All right. So, I had to have a represent go up with me. So, >> I just think that she's run out of money. >> Uhhuh. Well, she can't stay for free now. >> So, yes, sir. >> How you doing? >> He just needs you to go up with him to room 250. >> Let her know that she she's got to go. >> Yeah. And if she don't got to go, >> she don't want to go. >> I I tried to reason with her. I tried to get the payment, but first she went off on Denoya this morning when Denoya called her and she was like, "When the manager comes in, we'll sort it out." I said, "Hey, I'm I'm calling you." So, she's like, "What are you trying to call me for?" I'm like, "Well, you call." So anyway, long story short, I just think she doesn't have any money and it's to a point where, you know, I don't want my staff to be >> Yeah, he really does. Now he doesn't. >> We'll go up. >> It must be the uh the body cam the officer in the corner there cuz Yeah, it did look like he was 10t tall and the other guy was like 3 ft tall. >> So what if she says she wants to pay? Well, she pays right at this one time. I think >> you she got to go. Oh. >> All right. Okay. Well, >> thank you very much, Rachel. >> How long you been here for? >> She paid through till Sunday. No problem. Good to see you here. >> 10th. She paid through 10. >> Okay. So, it's been here two days. >> Oh, must be nice. >> Yeah. >> West Palm Beach Police. >> He did say that. What? >> West Palm Beach Police. I just want to talk to you. >> Stoner. >> Hello. >> The call the calm before the storm. >> What's her name? >> Uh, Christine. >> Christine. >> Yeah. >> Hello. Do you have >> He's over six feet, that's for sure. Hello. >> And of course, since this is Florida, for whatever reason, they have, you know, privacy protections even in a hotel room. So, there there's a little bit that's cut out, but we do get to meet her. >> Hello. >> Inside the hotel room, Christy continues refusing to leave the property. Police try to reason with her for more than 10 minutes. However, she ignores their commands and begins doing her makeup in the bathroom instead. Officers place Christy under arrest and she immediately begins resisting. That's right. I caught her. [music] >> You've been here. Oh, >> she's fully clothed. That's a plus. >> I don't think that's somebody. Nope. You join us for yourself. We give you plenty of >> me too, Nancy. >> Stop it. >> You made me believe. Where you at? >> Uhuh. Uhuh. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. >> You need to >> ma'am. Calm down. No, you sit tolerating traffic from your phone. >> Well, I don't know if I actually need 150 to get to 7,000. There's some kind of discrepancy going on there. We hit 7,000 on Monday. >> Just put off. >> No, absolutely not. >> Get off of me. >> You trying to kick me? Why would I get my foot off of you? >> Just wait. Miss Jarhead. >> Get off me. Get off of me. >> She's not going to make this easy. >> Bill. >> Oh, she kicked that car again. You kicked it. You know what? >> I don't think I did. I think it's a bug. >> Wait, we just might have to put you in our house. >> Thank you, Stone. >> Well, you'll be laying down. >> Yeah, something's wrong with her. This is not normal behavior. with that 15 or 14. >> Hey Joe, >> you want to get in the car? >> Get off me. I'm going get in the car. >> Okay, get in the car. >> Spit in the face. >> Westbound stat 192. >> Hey, Caroline. >> All right, we going to hobble her. >> She's a spit in his face. There you go. >> Yes. >> All right, we're going to lift you up over and put you in the car. I get the other arm. >> Thanks. Good to see you. >> Sorry. For sure. You can park. Park. push her in. >> They do a decent job considering >> good. >> Ma'am, you okay? >> Ma'am, you >> okay? I guess you're doing okay. >> We cooked her upstairs and she was flopping around. >> Okay. And then we got her down here and she won't go in. She's like, "Okay, I'll go in. I'll cooperate." >> Okay. So, let her go. >> Turns around right in the face. >> Police transport her to the hospital for medical clearance before going to jail where the situation continues to escalate. >> Her mate, >> get the half off me. your job. Don't >> cop. >> We had a guy yesterday who refused to get out of the car. He kept saying, "Just do your job. It's your job to get me out of the car." Well, they smell alcohol in his breath. Okay. He tried to take a field spray test. My officers have reason to believe that he has been operating this vehicle under the influence of alcohol. So, that means there was going to be a situation where we're going to have to figure out what to do with this vehicle. So, the vehicle will be one impounded or two, we can give it permission if he gives you permission to operate this vehicle and drive it. And in order to do that, I will have I will have to make sure you're a legal driver. >> What do you mean? >> So, I'm just trying to make sure that >> I saw that one specul. I have had horrible pregnancy puking. Like, it's horrible. This is my third child. I have a 16year-old, >> a 12-year-old, and this is my grab your driver's license. He was adjudicated guilty on both of these charges and as a result, he was sentenced to 5 years inside of state prison. And after his 5 years inside a state prisoner up, he'll be on probation for 25 years. Unfortunately, there weren't any details on whether the passenger or the backseat passenger were charged or convicted with any crimes, but it's important to note that under Georgia statute 16-13-31, possessing more than 10 lb in itself is enough to trigger trafficking statutes. [music] anyone traveling with 10 lb but less than £2,000. The statute calls for a mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. In his case, possessing 20 lb of marijuana, carries an estimated street value of roughly $90,000. And as evident in the body camera footage, the police were very pleased with this stop that eventually led to them capturing 20 lb of marijuana.
