One caller also reported the woman was honking at people outside the bar. Officers later located the vehicle at Smokes 4 Less. The suspect, named Ashley, appeared extremely intoxicated and was immediately uncooperative with officers on scene. >> I'm out with her here. Ashley was arrested on charges including battery or threats to a law enforcement officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, operating while under the influence, and misdemeanor bail jumping. Authorities also issued citations for possession of open intoxicants, possession of marijuana, hit and run involving property adjacent to a highway, and unsafe lane deviation. >> And she got jumping charge. >> Yeah. >> Prosecutors formally charged Ashley with felony threats to cause bodily harm to certain individuals involved with the legal system, along with resisting or obstructing an officer. The partially submerged vehicle was eventually removed from the shoreline near the south side of the lake. No information about his plea or sentencing has yet been made public.
