Heat. Heat. [music] [music] >> [music] [music] >> Hello everybody. Happy Sunday. I shortened up the intro a little bit. I think I found the right length. I don't know. All right. What do we have today? H the usual. Uh we got drunk people, stubborn people, foolish people. Uh got a good mix of all of them. And I have the last video I'm going to play is uh she's on the thumbnail in the bra. She's driving the wrong way on the highway. Very, very drunk. Might be I think I have two videos that they might be like top five for the month of the drunkest people I've seen in a body cam video. Uh let's see. We're going to get started at a club, though. Uh, a couple ladies were uh clout chasing. Uh, I don't know what they were doing. Uh, but they got all dressed up and then got in a fight with other women at this uh, fancy little club. And uh, boy, it was fun. So, let's get started with that one. >> I just told y >> I told y'all not to leave. Y'all don't listen to y'all going to jail. >> Why are we going to jail? >> Cuz I just told y'all not to leave. What's wrong with >> Meet Jasmine. One summer night in Miami, she gets an invite from local nightlife legend Money Matt. So, Jasmine asks her best friend Sam to join her. Sam says she's getting too old for the club scene, but reluctantly agrees. So, the two friends head to a little club called the Studio. Shortly after, cops are called to the studio and arrive in the midst of chaos. This woman claims Sam and Jasmine attacked her, stabbing her in the back in the process. She [music] has a deep laceration bleeding all down her dress. Security guards then escort out Sam and Jasmine as they argue with the other woman, insisting they didn't stab anybody. The lone officer on scene tries to separate the woman, ushering Sam and Jasmine into the elevator. >> I told you to You took it out. You took it out. >> She hit me first. She hit me first. What the? My nails is broken. She hit me first. Why would you stop her? >> Listen, listen, listen, listen. Come here. Come here. YouTube. Why did I stop? >> You get out the elevator. Get out the elevator. >> Why did you tell us? >> I never told you to come inside. >> You're being a bully for no reason. You start this for no reason. >> She's a bully for no reason. >> No reason. >> For no reason. >> [clears throat] >> Struggling to control the chaotic scene, the lone officer chases after Sam and Jasmine as they try to leave through the stairwell. >> She said that something happened to her. We're going to figure it out. Okay. They won't touch us cuz she wouldn't get out of her seat. >> For no reason. She was getting a bully for all these things. >> They know how to dress. You look nice. >> It doesn't matter. >> I'm not getting out of your seat in the door. Come back. >> Come back here. Come back here. Go through the door. Go through the door. Go through the door. Yo, I'm fighting a girl. I haven't found a girl in years. >> In years. Oh, no. Why? I'm [ __ ] [ __ ] The girl. >> Travis, thank you very much for the $2 super chat. >> I told you to stay right here. Y'all don't want to listen. >> Get in the elevator. >> Okay, you guys are not free to leave. I already told y'all that. >> Okay. And we're going to figure it out. >> Okay. >> I have two females walking with you. The injured female is upstairs. She has like a superficial wound to her back. I got a hand with what? >> Make sure them two don't leave. Black and pink. >> He comes and goes. Tony, >> did you let them go? >> Did you really let them go, sir? >> You have any EMT service? >> Yeah, they're coming. >> I'm going to the elevator in one second. Did you let them go? >> No, I did not. You can hang up the phone now. >> Have a seat right here. Have a seat right here. >> Have a seat right here. Just >> let me see. Lift up. Lift up the top. >> Can I see it? Can you just lift up? >> They need to look at the wound. She's like, "No, I I can't. It's going to hurt." He needs to take a look at it. Move your >> pink dress. >> Fueled by liquid courage, Sam and Jasmine decide the best way out is to make a run for Always. Good to see you. I just told y'all y'all going to jail. Come on. >> Why are we going to jail? >> I just told y'all not to leave. What's wrong with you? >> Because I told y'all not to leave. Y'all don't listen. >> Why did you try to walk away though? When I did you >> Yeah, but I just told you that though. I just told you that. >> I'm going for no reason. My mother >> No reason to run. I told you >> because she put her hands on me for no reason. >> Okay. And I told you we're going to figure it out. It doesn't matter. We talking other girl. Tell the other girl. Come on. >> Anything. So what? >> Okay. >> You know what's funny? >> No reason. >> I knew it was you really >> and I'm like, "Oh, it's Thursday. He's got to be working." Look, you should be around me because I was sitting there. I feel the air. >> I know. She could have killed me if he got my lung. >> My hand. >> We're worried about your injury right now. Now, we'll get the story in a little bit. >> Me because I was sitting at the chair >> and then I turned around and she attacked me and I didn't want to hit her back. >> Are you guys Are you guys related to her? >> Okay, so step over there. >> With the injured woman in stable condition, cops head upstairs to gather eyewitness accounts from the club security guards. I didn't. >> Yeah, Parrot Court YouTube has been very buggy this week. I I don't know what the hell's going on with it, but I've had all kinds of issues off and on. >> Oh, see. Okay, but who push? What was >> I see aggressive, but I seen both of them together. >> It looks fine on mine. >> It was mutual. >> Both of them squared up and they got into fell on top of a wine glass. They got tied up. She fell. They fell in the ground. >> You guys don't know what it was. >> Are they assigned seats or >> No, no signed seat. So, they can >> They don't know who was on the seat first. >> I have zero clue. >> All right. >> But then we hear a very different story from the victim and another witness. They say it wasn't a wine glass that injured her. They claim she was stabbed with a high heel. Even though she hit him with a heel, she threw a heel. >> That's not what they're saying up there. Yeah, they're not going to say that. But >> yeah, if you guys are having issues, I've got it on my iPad and iPhone, and both streams look, they're they're working, so you might need to uh close YouTube and come back. I don't know. Like I said, YouTube's having some issues this week. >> She had her off in her hand. >> Yeah, some girl stabbed us. That's >> right. >> I told you we're trying to figure it out and you didn't want to stay. You decided to run away. I don't know where you thought you was running to. The lady's going to the hospital. I don't know what happened, but you didn't want to stay around and tell me. >> Yeah. >> So now this is what we're dealing with. I never said you were going to jail. >> But you're saying that they hit you with a heel. Do you know who was holding the heel? >> The one with the shorter hair. >> Shoulder hair. >> What was she wearing? You know, black not to go to clubs. But Jasmine says she wasn't the instigator. While Sam was in the bathroom taking selfies, Jasmine saved her seat. But when the other woman sat down and Jasmine told her the seat was taken, the woman responded. >> She's like, "I don't feel at my friend." And then once I got him to confend my friend, she fell into something. I don't know if it was glass or I don't know what happened or how how else could she get >> I understand her story. But this is why you're in the back of a police car. You started to run away. I still don't understand where you were running to. >> It's just It's not crazy. It's not crazy. Do you think it's crazy that someone's in the trauma unit right now? >> We're going to raid Shane after I'm done here at about 4:00 Eastern. Shane, I hope you're ready. Do you think that's crazy? >> It's not crazy. That's very serious. >> You're 100% right about us getting >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's That's resisting. That's resisting without violence. >> I never had my handcuffs in my life. I don't know what's >> the handcuffs still on. >> I'm not Jamaican. >> I have no idea. But do not pee in the car. >> Crazy. >> It's busy. I never been a car. We have to say hiccups. >> Yeah. Well, wait until you see what she was stabbed with. I I don't think it would have gone all the way through >> until we figure out what's happening. Who is Matt to you guys? Was your friend just like a promoter or something? What is he? He's I don't know. He's just our friend. >> You have the same. >> Yeah, the pink one. He's a pink phone. >> Yeah. >> And now the details of the story change yet again. After reviewing the surveillance footage, the club manager says the victim didn't fall into a wine glass, but was intentionally struck with a martini glass. >> Martini. Oh, >> okay. A martini glass. >> You'll see right here in the corner. This is the one that hit this wall here. We definitely see without a doubt. >> That's him. Oh, Matt is that guy. >> Yes. Matt money is what he goes by. He knows a lot of people. I cleaned up the rest of the piece of plastic. I like to kind of show you. That look you have some blood. >> Does that look red to you? That looks a little red, right? >> I mean, I couldn't tell you like which girl or girls, but I like saw like the glass in the hand and her leg like >> Yeah. But it happened like really fast. >> One was ran. >> With both women now in custody, it's time for the part neither claims to have experienced before. Both Sam and Jasmine say this is their first and only arrest. Whether that's true or not, they're about to get the full experience. Handcuffs, a search, and the booking process. >> You had on heels. >> Okay. You don't want to walk with them anyways. You're going to go down to the station. They're going to further interview you. Okay. >> At the station, bro. Come on. >> Cuz you you got to quit like 100 times. Hold on. Hold on. Turn. >> Yes. We have your phone. Apparently, you know how to get out of cuffs cuz you got out of the first place. >> I never handcuffed on me in my life. If you get out of the handcuffs I put on you. If you get out, I doubt you will. But if you do, then you will go to jail for that's a charge. >> Another charge. >> With another charge. Travis, thank you for >> It's not supposed to be comfortable. It's not meant to be comfortable. >> We're going to switch Jacobs. Okay. >> Okay. I already came over. >> After they handcuffed Sam, police will interview her and you'll hear Sam introduce a new theory. The injured woman was clout chasing and got jealous after seeing Jasmine flirting with Money M. >> Is my hands or my nails hurt? >> You look nice. >> I'm cut up. >> Okay, put your hands behind your back like you're pranking. No. No. Like this. Like this. >> We're going to go to the station now. In the video, she used to show how she started. >> It's not about who it is. It's not about that. >> I never got arrested. >> Oh my gosh. Jesus. Yo, all my gym friends see me on arrested. >> Oh my gosh. Oh my back. >> If my if my body hurt, I can't go to the emergency room. >> If you want to go, we can take it's going to pull everything. >> But she already went and she said I stabbed her and I never even touched the girl. I mean, I'm fighting her, but I never stabbed her. We had a fight. >> Okay. Um, pass in the middle. Look. >> You see? >> Okay. But sit in the car. Okay. Yeah. Because you guys saw it. So, of course, you're going to get I cut her. So, I didn't have no knife or no nothing. It was just a regular fight. >> And she hit us first. >> Explain that to the detective. Okay. >> Let me read it to her because >> I'm going to read your Miranda. Okay. Okay. Having this right in mind, do you wish to talk to us now? >> Yes or no? This is unfair. This is unfair. >> Yes or no? Ask your question so we can continue on. >> Huh? >> Take me to detect text. >> So, no. The detectives are not going to talk to you. >> Oh, okay. So, what do we got to talk about? >> That was your chance to talk to her. So, sorry. >> Do you wish after you I already knew like you wish to talk to me? Yeah. >> Okay. So, tell me your bathroom and I went to use the restroom. I was making videos. I just went to I went to pee and I make videos. So I said, "Jasmine, just hold my seat." So when I came back, the girl was sitting down. Um, so she told her, she's like, "You know, it's my best sitting there." She said, "Cool." Like whatever. So I'm like, "Okay." So I came back and she was like, "Oh, I'm not getting up." So I said, "Okay, why you not getting up?" And you know, I've been sitting there. I've been there from earlier. Why you not getting up? So I said, "Matt, can you talk to her?" Because that's Matt friend. He introduced us to said hi to her. I don't know if she had something with Matt or cuz Jasmine was flirting with Matt. I don't know. Next thing you know, I don't know. We just started fighting. I don't know who hit who. I don't know who cuz I'm kind of tipsy, but I'll sit down. She got up and she got mad at Jasmine and I think she hit Jasmine. I don't know if my instinct I don't know what. You get what I'm saying? But nobody had weapons. I don't have weapon. They won't allow us in there with a weapon. >> Right on. >> So that was just it. >> Good luck. >> It was nothing crazy. So Okay. >> And I don't even know how she got blood on. Look, I got cut, too. So, I never I'm not going to I mean, I haven't had a fight in so many years, you know? So, she don't pay my bills. I don't worry about her. I don't even know her name. And I told Jazz, for some reason, I'm like, "Babe, I don't even want to go out." Like, Sammy, come on. I'm just over it cuz I'm a business owner. I don't have time to deal with unnecessary drama. I got bills to pay. But I think peep that she was talking to Matt and I've been peeping and Jasmine was talking to her, she kind of had a little jealousy. But I never put, you know, sometime like maybe it's my mind. >> Yeah. So when I came out the bathroom, I'm like, "Why is this girl hacking hot [clears throat] style over my seat?" And you know, we were sitting there the whole time. So the reason why we left because I'm like, "Okay, I'm black. They going to think I started it, but I did not start." >> When the officer tried to stop you. >> Yeah. I tried to run. Yeah. I tried to run because I just feel like I don't know, you know, it's just a it's just it's just I never got arrested and I just feel like I didn't do anything. >> Yeah. But you know, if you didn't do anything, you can't run like that because it makes it look >> It make it look weird. I know. So, you said you wanted to go to the hospital. You wanted to >> I don't, you know, we both had a fight. It's not that serious. Like, I'm a strong woman, but I just feel like she went to the hospital and said, "We stopped her." And I don't I don't have a >> Well, she has a big big fight. >> Wow. >> But I'm just saying I never had a weapon. It was just a regular fight. She grabbed my hair. I dropped on the floor. If you see the videos, I dropped on the floor a couple times. So, we had a regular fight. And I'm just frustrated at myself because I don't even do this. You get what I'm saying? >> Look, my hand is cut. >> I put my finger nail. >> Yeah, we're just a regular girl's fight. Like, like I'm 33 years old. I don't need to be having friends. You get what I'm saying? And we're just petty and catty and dumb. Like, I don't know if she's intoxicated or she just got mad over Matt. Even J, she's just a flirt. She's not going to want she don't want Matt. She just, you know, so maybe she just think in her mind like this girl wore back and >> cuz she started with her first. If you watch the videos, she came at her just being hostile for no reason. And it's just like why? >> Like it's petty. >> Um but there's video and on the video all you see is your friend attacking her. Girls fell on the floor. Okay. >> So when she was on the floor she must >> maybe you don't remember but in the video >> I remember. I'm perfectly safe. >> You do try to go back for your friend but you also throw a punch. grabbing my friend while you're throwing punches at the same time. Just here to let you know you're getting arrested. You're getting charged for that which is battery and you're getting charged for told you to stand by and sit down there. Okay. >> Not us. We didn't do this. Your friend said she told you she want to stay home. You say, "Hey, no, let's go out." >> Sometimes you got to listen to that. >> Sam's going to jail. >> Looks good for 33. But while Sam is worried about going to jail, she's not too surprised to find Jasmine at the station laughing about the situation. >> Jasmine always think everything is funny. Why you always laughing, bro? We got to pay for lawyers. >> They think everything hit her first. I mean, they were her. >> Oh, she threw her in self-defense. >> That's what I'm saying. They said in the video I hit her first >> in self-defense. All I know is I fell back in the chair. I >> She fell in and then I and I hit her. I dropped her in and that was it. >> And I fell back. I dropped something. Look, she I cut right here. Start right here. The girl said to her pretty girls in jail. >> Good grief. I need a break from them talking for a second. Jeez. I don't think either one of them has stopped talking since this started. >> I got to pay for lawyers. They're going to put us on a Miami tease. >> I know guys called back and then me and her started fighting. That's how I remember. It's not going to be a heart attack. >> I know. I'm going to have a heart attack. >> I'm not going to have a heart attack. >> Why did we come outside? >> You will get >> I can't believe >> Yep. >> Oh my god. >> And she said this to us. >> Oh, no. Don't blame us. >> We're going to be able to talk. So the glass broke and it covers I think after you the video they got jealous bad to pray for us sometime we just had to stay away >> and you know she was fighting over to jail tonight at some point we're grown ass woman like I told her it was over a chair like she said it was over chair chair >> next time and drunk she said I don't give a about your truck have not stopped anybody It's your first amendment. That's free speech. >> That's called free speech. >> This is why I need to start going to church. >> I feel like I'm in a dream. >> Is this a dream? >> And we're going to wake up still. >> More than a year later, both Sam and Jasmine are still dealing with the fallout. Sam is facing a felony aggravated battery charge and misdemeanor [music] resisting, while Jasmine is facing misdemeanor battery and resisting. Both women were released on bond in order to stay away from the victim. And after a whole lot of court dates, continuences, [music] and paperwork, neither case has reached a verdict. Jasmine's trial is currently scheduled for September 28th, while Sans has been pushed back to December 7th. So, yeah, that seat at the club next to Money Mat ended up being a lot more trouble than either of them expected. All right. Well, that was kind of exhausting, but I had to have some video to start this off. Now, I'm going to go to a guy. He's got a warrant. They stop him at a gas station and he decides, "Yeah, I don't really want to go in on the warrant right now, so I'm going to try and run you guys over." >> February 26th, 2026, a Defiance Police Department officer on patrol observed a truck with a missing rear passenger door in Defiance, Ohio. The vehicle matched the description of a bolo issued by the Napoleon City Police Department. The officer ran the license plate to confirm and the registered owner was found to have an active warrant from Napoleon City Police Department. The officer initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle pulled into a Marathon gas station. >> Hey, Matthew. How are we doing today? >> Not too bad. Was there a situation that happened earlier today over Napoleon? >> You're not You're not aware of anything that happened to Napoleon? Okay. Gotcha. You are Matthew? Is it last night? >> Okay. Gotcha. Um I'll be out talking now. Okay. I got you. Uh, so what I'm going to have you do is I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle. As of right now, you're just going to be detained just because it's an ongoing situation. Um, we have a warrant actually from Napoleon. Uh, we're I'm going to be honest with you, Matt. We're Is Matt. Okay, Matthew. Um, we're not entirely 100% on what's going on. Um, I just we did receive that warrant. So, like I said, right now you're >> She called me. She called me earlier. who told me earlier. >> Okay, I got you. Yeah, like I said, um we got the warrant, so uh we're going to have to take >> Welcome back, Erica. >> Um I'm not entirely sure. It just got faxed over probably not even 10 minutes ago. Do what now? >> Um as of right now, yeah, you're going to be under arrest uh off of that that warrant from Napoleon. >> Regarding the situation, so what I'm going to have you do is go ahead step out of the vehicle for me. Um and We'll go over everything. We'll we'll uh >> I've seen a few >> inform you what's going on right now. I need you to step out of the vehicle >> for me. >> Come on. >> Make this easy. >> Um I'm going to go ahead and detain you. Then we can let you make a couple of calls. Okay. >> It's an odd name for a city. Napoleon def. The driver refused to step out of the vehicle and began acting suspiciously. >> Backup arrived shortly after. >> What you going to do? >> Jay, I know you heard me, so I'm going to tell you again. I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle for me. Drop the phone. >> Go ahead and leave the phone in the car. >> That's some [ __ ] dude. >> Okay. Yep. >> I know, but it's just I don't understand why. >> Okay, I got to arrest. I did nothing wrong. And I get >> Why would she call? Why wouldn't I just don't make no sense. >> Okay. All right. >> He had to wait for his backup. Now that the backup's here, now they're going to try and get him out of the car. >> Okay. Yeah. No, I understand. I asked you about four times now to step out of the vehicle. >> If you're not going to step out of the vehicle, we're going to have to take it out of the vehicle. Okay. >> I don't want to be taken out. >> Okay. Yeah. No, I got you. Okay. >> Hello, dude. They're going to >> go for it. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> Come on, buddy. >> All right. >> Talk to your mom outside. >> Yeah, they're going to freaking try to give me >> Put the phone down. Put the phone. >> I need to talk to Please, guys. Stop. Please. Okay. Uh, here we go. >> Step out of the vehicle. You're going to catch extra charges. >> Matthew, don't do that. >> Refusing to get out of the vehicle. >> You can I told you you can make the call back at the PD. >> Okay, I will. All right. >> Out. >> All right. >> Matthew, >> step out of here. >> I don't I don't feel like he's safe or anything. Please. >> Turn the vehicle. >> Oh, he's not safe. >> You're going to get tased. >> I don't feel safe. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> All right. I don't feel safe. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> You're going to get tased. Step out of the vehicle. Got Matthew. >> Step out. >> Matthew, step out of the vehicle. >> Come on, buddy. >> Go, Matthew. >> Step out of the vehicle. You're getting tased. >> Please stop. >> Matthew, >> get out. Please stop. >> Whoa. >> No, that hurt. >> Matthew, step out of the vehicle. >> Step out of the vehicle. Okay. >> Whoa. Uhoh. Oh no. Don't stand behind the car. >> Hey, >> step out of the vehicle. >> I don't want >> I don't want to. >> And he's off. And he broke his door, so he can't even close the door. So, he's riding down the road with his door open. Yeah. Who saw that coming? What a shock. Yeah, >> apparently not. That would have been helpful. He's running back behind the wood. They'll never find him in those woods. But he tried. >> Matthew, >> he's over here. Matthew. >> Yeah. Then I couldn't show it. >> Matthew, it ain't worth it, man. I don't know. It's a good question. I should test it. >> Yeah. >> It's going to be in the woods across the street from B&Z. I don't want to go to jail, so I'm going to do everything possible. >> Just wait for the dog. >> Okay. >> Hey, I didn't even catch that. >> Okay. I don't know, man. My leg got >> Yeah. >> [ __ ] up. I don't know if he hit me with the car or what. >> And that would be aggravated battery times two cuz there were two officers there. Good job, buddy. >> This is it. >> Yeah. >> Hey, Southern Queen. Good to see you. Happy Sunday. >> I saw him in this area right here. That's why I tried turning the car off if you don't make me. All right. >> You're not the only one. Flower. >> He's going to be facing a tree. Hey guys, I'm going to go back and get the drone. >> Okay. >> Yeah, >> that's why we try not to ban people here, but sometimes they give us no choice. >> Hey, Trish. you bit back up where you were. >> Yep. And if he's really smart, he won't show up to court whenever he bonds out for whatever this is for whatever they're going to charge him for here. And then he'll have another warrant. Then he can do it all again. >> Come. That's good boy. We just came from there. >> Oh yeah, that is infrared. They got the fancy ones. Bigfoot too. [snorts] >> Here you have Nancy. Yes. But I see you over Credence and Mikey. I know what you're up to over there. Yeah. Did they touch him? Where'd he go? Oh, they got the dog. Right. Hey, hey, hey. Right here. >> Right here. Under the blue truck. >> I'll subscribe. >> You're going to get bit. >> Get out. Get out. >> Crawl out. >> Crawl out. >> Crawl out. >> The dog out. >> [ __ ] you. >> Oh, there he is. He's under the car. Well, that was a pretty good hiding spot until the dog showed up. [ __ ] you. >> You have cops on you. >> Crawl the [ __ ] out. Crawl out. You're going to get bit. boy traffic. Good boy. Nico, >> I'm sorry about any attacks. >> Good job. >> I'm sorry to officers. >> Roll on to your right. Yeah, I'm not crawling around in the woods to look for some hardened criminal. I don't know if this guy's a hardened criminal, but still. Yeah, that's not my job. >> Bring your legs up to your chest. >> Bring your to your chest. >> Queen, happy Monday to you. >> All right. >> You, too, right? I'm sorry. >> Go ahead. Search him. >> He said so. You can contact my mom and try to get my dogs, please. >> Would you do please? >> Still wants to call his mommy. We'll get you in the car first and we'll talk. Nice. >> Yeah, it's unlocked. >> No, the nose knows. >> Oh, I need >> Yes. >> Oh my goodness. >> Yeah. I feel very unsafe now. >> He was arrested and transported to a local hospital for medical clearance before being taken to jail. Both officers were also struck by the truck and required medical attention, though they were cleared and released. He was charged with assault on officers, failure to comply, and vehicular assault, and was transported to the Correction Center of Northwest Ohio for booking. He appeared in court the following morning where his bond was set at $500,000 cash. >> Yeah, he's not getting out. No way. Holy crap. Yeah. Uh a $500,000 bond, bondsmen usually take 10% and you don't get that back if you go through a bondsman. So unless he has $50,000 to spare, he's not getting out. Or if his mom lives in a house that's worth over $500,000 that's paid off that she wants to put up and risk this guy doing this again. Nope. All right. Next, we're going to go to a middle school. The kids are all blurred out, so we don't see them. But a teacher was running a fight club out of the school. And then it was all on video, and the police saw the videos. Parents complained. And uh most of this is the interrogation of her. And she just lies and lies and lies. >> This isn't a street fight. This isn't some random place where nobody is watching. This is a classroom. But you know what's shocking? There's a teacher right in that classroom. She wasn't just there when students started fighting. She allowed the fights to happen, gave them rules, and watched as her students fought each other. And when detectives finally asked her about it, she denied despite multiple pieces of evidence. >> You can clearly hear you say in certain videos, "Hey, no screaming, no yelling. Go at it." But how do you know that? >> It started at Griffin Middle School in Tallahassee, Florida, where sixth grade teacher Angel Footman was responsible for [music] her students. But inside her classroom, investigators discovered something very different was happening. Several students were being called out of their normal classes and sent to Footman's classroom. And according to investigators, they weren't going there to study. They were going there to fight. >> Yeah. [screaming] What the [ __ ] And there she is. >> Videos clearly showed a teacher coming to stop one of the students recording because she knew the implications. On top of that, multiple students confirmed what exactly happened inside Ms. Footman's classes. >> I have Miss Hampton's mother, Elizabeth Stoops. Um, Miss Stops, if you'll say your date of birth, please. Heard this is in reference to um a fight that you possibly witnessed at school. Do you know what I'm talking about? Okay. Do you want to tell me about it? There was like this fight in Miss Spman's class and yeah, I don't know why came into the classroom, started fighting. I was doing my McGra Hill and >> All right, I got to pause it right there. She said she was doing her McGra Hill. McGra Hill is a publisher of uh textbooks for schools. So, she was doing she was doing school work. She's trying to do work and this teacher is bringing in people to have a fight >> and they just started fighting. >> And you said you didn't know why they wanted to fight? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. And what were the name of the girls that were fighting that you saw fighting? And do you remember what day this happened on? >> I think it was 23rd. >> The 23rd of February, I'm assuming. Or middle school, though. >> And what classroom did this happen in? >> Miss Footman's class. >> Was Miss Footman in the room? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Did Miss Footman or any other teacher or school staff person try to check up break up the fight or anything? >> Like some students were >> some students tried to break it up. Okay. But Miss Footman didn't try to break it up. >> She did try. >> She did. Okay. What did she do? >> She was like saying, "Stop. Stop." And like trying to pull them away a little bit. >> Okay. Was this the first um fight that you witnessed in her class? >> No. Okay. What was the other fight? >> There was another fight with I forgot, but there was another one. I just forgot who fought. >> Okay. Were they boys or girls? >> Girls. >> Okay. Do you remember what day that happened on? >> No, ma'am. >> Was it before or after the the one on the 23rd? >> Before. >> Do or you don't understand what we're investigating? >> I do. >> Okay. What would that be? >> Fight from yesterday. >> Hey, Frank. >> The fight from yesterday. Okay. Where was this fight? in fourth period. >> Whose classroom? >> Okay. Did you just witness it? >> No, I was just >> What led up to the fight? >> I don't know. But they just talk about a fight and they was fighting. >> Okay. Who was fighting? >> I don't know their names. >> You don't know their names? But this happened in Miss Footman's class in fourth period yesterday. Okay. Yesterday was Thursday the 23rd. Was it two girls, a girl, and a guy? Like, who all was fighting? >> We I think we find out >> two girls were fighting. You don't know why it started. What all went on in the fight itself? >> I don't know. They were just talking about that they're going to fight. >> You don't know like could you describe how the fight was? It was just the two of them. What were they doing when they were fighting? Yeah, >> I was putting hair and they was on the ground >> pulling hair and throwing each other on the ground. Uh, how did the fight end? >> Miss Footman pulled them apart and they got to learn sometime. >> Okay. So, Miss Footman pulled them apart when the bell rang. >> Yeah. How long were they fighting? >> I'm not going to spoil anything. >> It was about time to go. >> So, they were fighting for about 10 minutes until it was time to go. >> I suspect that she either she's got some kind of psychological problem with girls, or she knew that if she let two boys fight, even middle school boys, there's no way she'd be able to break it up. >> Told investigators that the students knew they could fight inside Footman's classroom and that Footman had eventually agreed to let them do it. But these weren't the only students who described what was happening. So tell me what you saw. >> It was other people in my classroom that called another girl down to our classroom so they can see the girl that was in my classroom fight each other. They called >> her down >> they can fight and the teacher said that they could do it like a friendly fight. >> Okay. Miss Flipman said that. >> Yes. She told them not to record. >> Mhm. >> But they recorded. >> Mhm. So, >> did you see who recorded it? >> No. >> So, she Miss Did Miss Footman say anything else? >> She was stopping. She was like trying to break it up. >> Okay. After they had been going for a little bit. Yeah. Okay. Were the desks moved around and everything? Like I mean, did they know they were going to fight or >> The desks were in the same place. >> Okay. >> All the witnesses confirmed fights started there while other students watched. And according to them, Footman was right there. But investigators weren't relying only on student statements. They had the videos. And those videos showed Footman inside the classroom while the fights were happening. The investigation was now becoming much harder to explain away. So detectives sat down with Footman. >> You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court and do you understand? >> Okay. >> Give me your first and last name. >> Tell me how this all came about with these students and the fights and everything. >> Okay. So basically on Thursday um before fourth period um the student mo she was the aggressor and she came in my classroom and she was trying to get in to fight my classroom. So I had escorted her out of the classroom. I said no like we're not going to do this. We're not going to fight. >> Um so then she came back at the end of the period. So 42. She came back at 2011 and you could probably see that in the camera. It's the time stamps. >> Um she came back at 2011. So I sit on the far side away from my door. The doors are always locked. So students answer my door. So um [snorts] >> student I open the door and then you know she came in and then the other little girl immediately jumped up and they began fighting. The fight lasted maybe less than 30 seconds. Like it wasn't even enough time for me to call someone. >> Um and it definitely wasn't enough time for me to get up and break it up. Usually when a fight does happen in my class, um you know, usually I'll call for someone, but we only have one security guard, so it'll take a while for him to get there. So I'll usually have to step in and break it up. And then I've gotten hurt that way many times um having to break up. >> Um but that's pretty much how that happened. And then when the bell had rang cuz she came in at the >> when the bell had rang and she's a teacher. Yeah. Did it look like in that video, I know it was blurred, but did it look like she was doing anything to try and break it up or just standing there watching? >> Very end of the period, they all dispersed and um I didn't write it up because I just didn't even process what really even just happened. >> And according to her, she didn't have time to intervene or call anyone. But there was a problem. This wasn't the only fight investigators were looking into. There had been multiple altercations in the classroom. What about fights on the day before >> on Wednesday? >> I'm not sure about that one. >> Okay. Some of the videos that I saw, again, I can't verify whether they're the same ones you saw, but >> um in terms of these fights occurring um the classroom, sitting at your desk >> and watching these two girls beat the crap out of each other. I mean, is there a reason that you did not call anyone? >> I couldn't call anyone. YouTube is glitching, Cherry. >> Okay. >> And I have that documented as well by it. >> She really is. >> I have a phone in my classroom. >> I do have a cell phone. >> Could you use that to call? >> That could be too. >> I could have. >> Okay. >> Um and >> Footman clearly had a way to call for help, but she didn't. However, that wasn't the end. >> Hear you say in certain videos, "Hey, no screaming, no yelling. Go at it." >> But how do you know that was my voice? >> Because you're clearly standing there and it's an adult. So, >> she's a middle school teacher and she was running a fight club type thing out of her classroom. >> Voice. It's not a child's voice. >> Yeah. But even when like I'm talking on the phone, like they don't know if it's my voice or not. >> I mean, I can I I can get the videos and show you um what I saw. I know they were kind of blurry, so I'll have to look at the school. So, I know the school research deputy has those. But again, this was multiple people that identified that as your voice and you're seen in the video as the only adult in the room. Um, you teach alone, right? >> I do teach >> for lunch. >> Um, but it's clear that. And then there's the other video where I clearly saw it was you and I'd have to look at which two it was. There was only two other girls in there. >> That's the one I described to you, >> right? And then you walk towards whoever is filming it at the end and you tell them to shut it off. Um that's clearly I mean it's your face, you know. Um so that story is not the story of them just coming in there fighting. Why are all the desks moved out of the way? >> Oh, that's how my desk are set up. >> Okay. So if I asked any of the kids, you know, who told me the desks were moved and all these girls knew that they were going to go there and fight, why would they be saying that? >> I don't know. But my desk are always set up like that, especially towards the end of the day cuz my children >> Footman seemed to have answers for all the questions the detective confronted her with. But while the officer stepped out a bit, something noteworthy happened. >> Hello. >> I'm in big trouble. Mama >> been here. They're questioning me. Footman got on a phone call and then she began crying, visibly shaken as she waited for the detective to return. >> Things that differ from what you're telling me in terms of, hey, I've got multiple students saying she was called there and I've got kids saying she called me there and they knew it was going to happen. It's not like you force them to, but they knew what they were going there for. Footman's statement and pieces of evidence weren't matching. It's clear that she almost cannot explain her way out. However, she has one last question. >> Um, so what could be the outcome of >> So, I'm going to continue interviewing, talking to people, pulling those records, and seeing what the school can provide me with. But, um, it's going to be kind of up to the state attorney's office in terms of moving forward with charges or not. That's in their hands. >> What would the charges be? Um, I don't know at this point in terms of lot of people have to do that, you know, in terms of it's not going to be a surprise. I'm pretty upfront. Um, >> but I have to say in terms of everything, I mean, the videos, it's not acceptable. I mean, from an outsers's perspective, there are beating out of each other. >> I mean, and you know that. >> I know that. Um, >> and I know you're small and I know, but you also knew that there was steps you needed to take to stop this from happening. >> On April 6th, 2023, prosecutors approved four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, one for each juvenile involved in the case. She was later removed from her teaching position. The criminal case was eventually resolved through a plea agreement in 2024, with the charges dropped in exchange for conditions that included community service and a permanent bar from working for the Lyon County School District. Really? So, the charges were dropped. What the [ __ ] All right. Now that I have everyone angry at the teacher. Hey, Fluffy. All right. Uh, we're going to go to a couple. Um, the the girlfriend's okay. Like, she she's a little emotional, but you know, she's young. The guy's young, too. This one frustrated the hell out of me. It's a young man who's just being stupid. Gets himself arrested for nothing. I'm not getting arrested. No. For what? If they give me a visa, for what? No. >> No. >> Julia, please. >> License, registration, insurance, please. >> Public. Hey, fine. I want I want your license, registration, and insurance. >> This is my father. >> Okay, fine. I understand. Ma'am, >> we're not trying to start nothing. Please don't give us back. >> I'm not I just want to make sure everything is all legit and I'll send you on your way. Okay? I promise. >> Just stop arguing with them. Stop this one. >> It's not worth it. >> Honestly, bro, I was just saying, bro, >> we were literally hugging in the back. >> I have no problem. I have no problem doing that. >> So, what do you just want I make sure everything's all legit. I'll send you on your way. >> Stop talking to him. Don't talk to him. No, don't talk. You're not even a >> driver. Yeah. So far, they just want to run the license, make sure that neither one of them have warrants. They're in a park that's closed. Not a big deal. If everything's good, then they're going to let them leave. No problem, right? >> It's my paperwork. It's my father's car. >> Why? Why you arguing with these people, bro? They always people tickets. Come on. >> I got enough [ __ ] going on, bro. >> Make sure everything's all legit. I'll send them your way. >> There you go. your paper. So everything's legit. Why do you got to make sure it's legit? >> Because we're the police. We're investigating. >> But we're parked here after hours. Why do you need the insurance and everything? >> There you go. That's parked after hours. Technically, it's illegal. >> There was There's a car. >> There's mad people here, sir. >> Okay. Very well. I'll make sure everything's legit. I promise I'll arrest you. >> You're not I promise you I'll arrest you. >> If you don't, you'll be a place under arrest, sir. >> You're not about to do that to me. >> Simple choice. Let me see your license or I'm taking you to jail. Which would you guys choose? >> You You want to make a bet on it? You want to make a bet on it? >> Come on, >> man. I want to make a bet. You're not doing nothing. >> You want to get I'm telling you to calm down, bro. >> There we got another one. >> I'm telling you to calm down, bro. Why are you making things so complicated? >> Don't be foolish. >> I want I want his license. If any gonna go on his way and if he doesn't he'll be under arrest the police. I'm asking for license or I promise y'all are arrested. >> Hey you right. I don't know if I do my mother. I'm not getting arrested. No. >> I don't think this is the first time he's acted like this. So I don't feel too bad for her. >> For what? If they give me a reason for what? No. Oh, no. >> I'm not doing that. >> No, I'm not doing that. He's not >> I'm at East Park. Can you please come? They harassing me over here. Well, not even. There's one cop. He's harassing us for no reason. >> Listen, to leave after parked after hours. We're about to leave. He pulled over in the front of us. Said, "You're getting pulled over now. I can't leave." >> Whatever ID you have, >> he's trying to take my ID and all >> about arresting him. Pulled over for nothing. For we didn't get pulled over. We were sitting here with the car. like come around all the time. There's nothing else to discuss. >> May I come out the car? >> No. When you get out the car, >> may I step out the car, sir? >> Yes, you. >> Why are you getting out the car? >> Because one bad >> one bad dab. I'm seen in my ear. paperwork or anything like that. >> Julian, show me the paper. Julian, please show them the >> Yeah, those would be reasons. Those are like normal reasons why somebody doesn't want to ID themselves. They have a warrant or, you know, their license is suspended, no insurance at all. >> I don't want my Are you or not? Last warning. Are you or not? >> All right. Stop it. >> You're under You're under arrest. Get out. You're under arrest. Get out. You're under arrest. Stop. Stop. It's too late, man. >> Your license. You're younger, bro. Let me tell you, you know what? You were a lot more calm and a lot more mature. Was really like he just flipped out. He >> He did flip out. Yeah. If I got caught in the park with a girl when I was much younger, I would have just shown my ID and we would have left. >> Flipped out from I don't know why. >> I don't know why. >> He has a bad experience. >> No, but but but the thing is he he's going to have another bad one because you know what, bro? I ain't giving you nothing. >> What do you think we're going to do? We're going to back away. I don't know about any experience. >> You get locked up for paperwork that we could show you right now?" >> There are certain circumstances like they can't just walk up to a random person and say, "Hey, you you look funny. I I want your ID." They It does have to be like a a stop like this or like even passengers don't have to ID unless they're suspected of of a crime. But she was in the park after hours, too. I'm looking at you which way we're the police. >> Nevertheless, we warn we warn you. I said okay. Let me give you your paperwork and I promise you just like that. Motor vehicle. >> You said you asked to leave and then pulled in front of him. >> He's not giving me his paperwork. He has he has that paperwork. >> So, at what point did you ask for this paperwork? He decided to say no because he told me you asked him to leave the park and then he said you pulled in front of him to block him from leaving and then you asked for >> physically didn't show ID.
