Bail was set at $300,000. According to court records, Jacob later entered into a plea agreement and pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment, attempting to elude a police vehicle, and violations of court orders, with the remaining charges dismissed as part of the agreement. [music] At sentencing, the court imposed a suspended sentence, meaning Jacob did not receive immediate prison time, but was released under supervision and required to comply with court-ordered conditions. These included no contact with certain individuals, a prohibition on firearm possession, and the requirement to provide a DNA sample. In 2026, court records show there were still ongoing applications regarding the no contact order, with some requests granted and others denied. The child, who appeared to be living inside the red sedan, was turned over to child protective services for evaluation of his living conditions.
