State Police Troop e observed a 2005 sequia near leeville Louisiana commit several traffic violations the trooper then made contact with the driver 45y old Douglas C of Duo Georgia and tell him the I've goty hey I got textbook human trafficking right here he just went to Liberty County to pick all of them up and he's taking them to Mississippi call somebody all right see if they want to deal out what's going on you just picked all these people up in Liberty County Texas correct and taking to Mississippi to work yeah yeah okay how much you getting paid to drive to transport these people no to ride to the scene and they continue to gr Douglas about his story how far out is he uh he lives in P so he said he throw his clothes on he go want that's a lot oh a lot of and everyone every time I go up there the look like this when I look at them or I shine my light on they go they go back they go back to sleep I guess I just got a soothing voice to where I just put him to sleep delivered in it that's on him okay but I have to notify him and let him know what's going on okay like I said there's not one or two people in there there's nine people in there you understand so just hang on we'll get it taken care of all right just go aad and stand right there in front of my car so you don't get run LSP M the body cam but Douglas is still not under arrest and the Troopers tell Douglas to Trail them back to the sheriff stations for further investigation with the trafficking specialist in Liberty in Liberty yeah did you know him when you went to meet him looking for all time worker hey I need three four five please you pay yes okay come on all nine people were determined to be illegal aliens from Mexico which Douglas was transporting to different cities to work the nine illegal aliens were released to the United States border patrol a waiting deportation back to Mexico Douglas was booked into the Vernon Paris detention center for human trafficking according to statements from the state police these victims were being transported through a human smuggling operation where they would be forced to work into a de bondage this type of trafficking is a example of modern day
