situations seem to be getting worse now
I've dealt with many situations like
this the owner of a business calls the
police I responded and usually if I had
to respond more than twice you usually
got arrested for trespassing now
remember law enforcement takes these
calls seriously they assess the
situation check for intent and determine
if there's a legitimate reason for your
presence and being ignorant of the law
is not a defense now in case one a case
out of Florida we have a woman in a car
outside of a Den's who's been told to
leave now she's being difficult and it
always amazed me how people will advise
officers how to do their jobs in one
instance she actually tells the officer
that he needs a female officer to search
her now for an extensive search yes
however in Florida male officers are
allowed to pat down a woman if you feel
safe to do so an officer can request a
pat down by an officer of the same sex
as a suspect but only as a courtesy if
the officer chooses to call for a
same-sex officer to search you and this
officer was well within his right to
deny this woman a female officer and she
does end up getting pepper sprayed and
let me tell you this stuff is not a
pleasant experience and she also ends up
with a resisting charge on top of the
trespass but she absolutely brought that
on herself now case two was out of
Carl's B Police Department in California
now this is honestly a woman that is
clearly freaking out and actually
urinates on herself and urine actually
got on the officers as well and I have
to be honest as an officer you have to
deal with many nasty situations and with
this situation get me to a shower quick
because just using wipes is not enough
and even with all that it still took
practically all the officers to get her
into the back of the car and one officer
almost had to use his taser but luckily
just the sight of the electricity calmed
her down however all the officers kept
their composure and remained
professional throughout the situation
and lastly remember trespassing can lead
to fines community service and even a
criminal record and they can range from
a summary to a felony so remember it's
not just about being in the wrong place
if you ignore no trespassing signs or
you refuse to leave you could be
bringing problems on yourself that's all
