on Monday April 22nd 2024 around 9:45 p.m. Las cruus police received a call from Walmart loss prevention regarding a woman who was a repeat shoplifter Walmart loss prevention informed the officers of the suspect's name and officers were informed by Dispatch that the suspect had active warrants that's hurt there that's the one I'm running uh I don't know they got eyes on her inside you want it or what huh you want it I see thank God where's she at right here she's at register 11 so she concealed some clothes into that bag now she's only scanning like the grocery stuff and like socks on 3 did you yeah she's not attempting to pay for the yes sir we're we're already inside yes sir uh for agult um we have eyes on her right now she's at the register and she has trespassed as well from Valley but it's for all Walmarts thank you [Music] yeah she concealed some items so we're going to get her on that [Music] too don't work you want just walk up on her yeah um if it's up to you guys if you want to do it in the store but if she doesn't pass the last point of sale I can't charge her for those well well for us if she conceals them um that's enough for us to try yeah if that works let's go and do that though she you said it's in the back yeah in the back yeah what is it uh it's like a pair of socks in 11 socks and like shirts yeah like clothes basically like clothes okay she's going to be walking out now if you guys want to where she at right now register 11 which is closer to this side or that side it's like right in the it's closer to this side for sure so her car is declining right now for these items she might just try to walk out maybe yeah as the suspect began making her way to the exit she was greeted by the officers before attempting to flee theas get away from me we got in let go the phone go the phone on the E side there we go yeah you okay yeah she's come on roll over you were just fighting me for your phone so stop roll over just turn them over yeah come on yeah [Music] by herself yeah she swallowing what's your name the suspect was identified as 31-year-old Isabelle Melendez drag fale 5050 according to loss prevention Isabelle has been trespassed from all Walmart stores due to previous incidents h [Music] oh yeah she reacted to it she squinted her nose uh she reacted to it when I put it in her nose she squinted she's starting to get a little more responsive already did I give her the second dose uh just wait 3 minutes right 3 to 4 minutes if she wasn't already like um like if she had stopped I'd be like yeah I got her knife or pipe in her lighter guys there's some foil in know fale working is there female office I don't know about Graves no I think [Music] she did you see if she hit her be I fell when she fell so she did that she did that last time yeah this oh you noing yeah cuz when when we were getting her she was fighting me for her phone so I think she what she got I saw her pulling and then as soon as I walked up then she's like Isabelle was ultimately transported to the hospital before being booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center on charges of shoplifting and resis evading or obstructing an officer court records indicate the prosecutor dismissed both charges 11 days later like a year ago oh Reas I've never seen it that's cuz I was always wearing long sleeves
