on September 13th 20123 at around 3:50 a.m. a New Mexico state police officer who is also a federal Task Force officer was out on patrol when he passively ran the license plate on a charger which came back showing the insurance was expired the officer then conducted a traffic stop on I40 at mile marker 86 just east of Grant New Mexico [Music] St [Music] [Music] hello how are you guys officer Mexico State Police here's where I'm stopping showing your registration insurance is suspended on this vehicle it's actually my brother okay that your driver's license on you man do you have any paperwork enforcement the only way is to do a triple she said that she said that he always uses this ID let's try running this one and see what it comes back to tell we could do a triple ey on the other one too bro no so let's do a triple ey on that on the other name and see if uh if they have a picture that pops up police say Nathan was one of three men involved in the shooting which claimed the life of an 11-year-old boy and wounded his cousin before he fled from Albuquerque to Phoenix only to bring back a duffel bag full of fentanyl pills police say the three men were targeting a rival gang when they fired 17 rounds into the victim's vehicle which was later determined to be mistaken identity as of September 2024 both cases are still ongoing
