National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 2019

Sheriff Mike Chitwood and all of us at the Volusia County Sheriff's Office want to thank ALL of the professionals working so hard at our Communications Center, answering your calls, getting help to those who need it and helping to keep our men and women in uniform safe as they protect our community. April 14-20 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. Our people answer close to 1 million calls a year and collectively, they have about 1,000 years of service. Please join us this week in thanking one of these true public servants!
