Late on September 27th, 2025, a quiet Arkansas night on I-49 near the 83-mile marker shattered when a gray Acura TDL rocketed past Trooper Caleb Miller’s radar at a jaw-dropping 140 MPH in a 70 zone. As Miller moved to intercept, the vehicle momentarily slowed — then bolted again, diving off at the New Hope Road exit in Rogers.
Losing visual through the curve, Miller circled through nearby streets and parking lots until pedestrians waved him down — the suspect’s Acura lay wrecked in a nearby creek bed, its occupants vanished into the night. A coordinated search with Rogers PD ended behind Cross Church, where two men were found and detained without further incident.
