Florida's Move Over Law got an update. #florida #moveoverlaw #floridasheriff

Our Shoulder Deputy is back to remind you to move over and keep our roads safe! Move Over Law 2024 Update: Emergency vehicles? Move over Tow trucks? Move over Car with hazards? Move over Person with their car? Move over (Yes, even without flashers!) Can't safely switch lanes? Drop your speed 20 mph below the limit. Slow down to 5 mph when the posted speed limit is 20 mph or less. Because whether it's emergency lights flashing or just someone having a rough day with their car, everyone deserves a safe space on the road.
