Title
Killer Wife Thinks She Got Away With Murder—Has No Idea Her Boyfriend Told Cops Everything
Description
What happens when detectives discover that a murdered man’s wife was hiding a secret relationship with another man living under the same roof?
This is the police interrogation of **Tia Young**, whose husband, **George Young**, was shot and killed outside their Georgia home in November 2017. As detectives investigated George’s murder, their attention turned toward Tia and **Harvey “Tim” Lee**—a man who had been living in the Young family home and was secretly involved with Tia.
During the investigation, detectives confronted Tia with a disturbing trail of evidence and allegations: a **GPS tracker connected to George’s vehicle**, attempts to monitor his movements, internet searches linked to **black mamba venom**, questions surrounding the 911 timeline, a **$1 million life-insurance policy**, and communications exposing Tia and Tim’s affair.
But the interrogation takes an even more serious turn when detectives tell Tia that **Tim is talking—and implicating her**.
Tia repeatedly denies having anything to do with George’s murder while detectives challenge her explanations and reveal what they say they have uncovered.
The case ultimately went to trial. Tia Young was acquitted of malice murder but convicted of **felony murder, aggravated assault, and two counts of attempted evidence tampering**. She received **life with the possibility of parole plus three years**. Harvey “Tim” Lee was convicted of **malice murder** and sentenced to **life without parole**. Their convictions were upheld on appeal in 2022.
Watch the interrogation and follow the evidence as detectives confront Tia piece by piece.
