Title
"THE GAS GOT STUCK" - Man flees police attempting to serve warrant
Description
Report:
On October 3, 2025, at approximately 1:50 p.m., I was asked to assist the Concord Police Department in serving a warrant on
Ricky Brock at 360 Cooper Road.
Concord Police Department, the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, and I arrived at 360 Cooper Road at approximately 1:53 PM.
As soon as we exited our patrol vehicles, a white Nissan Frontier approached the driveway. Once the driver of the vehicle
noticed our vehicles, he backed up and then spun tires on the dirt road, traveling at a high rate of speed towards State Highway
25.
I informed dispatch that I would be in pursuit of the vehicle and then initiated my emergency lights and sirens. We travelled
approximately .7 miles south on Cooper Road before the vehicle came to a stop in a private driveway. As soon as I had a visual
on the stopped vehicle, a male driver had already exited the truck and was walking towards my patrol car. The suspect was
later identified as John Figueroa. When the suspect jumped out of his vehicle, he failed to put it in park, causing the vehicle to
roll back into the push bumper on my vehicle. My vehicle did not sustain any damage.
The suspect, John Figueroa, was then taken into custody, transported to the Cleburne County Detention Center, and booked in
on the following charges:
5-54-125(d)(1) FLEEING - VEHICLE OR CONVEYANCE
27-51-104 CARELESS AND PROHIBITED DRIVING
27-22-104 NO LIABILITY INSURANCE
