Harley-Davidson Motorcycle tried to outrun Arkansas State Police Corporal #police #pursuit

On March 29, 2023, I Cpl. Jed Bolyard was traveling southbound on State Highway 23 near Caulksville. I observed a motorcycle speeding 70 in a 55 mph zone. Once I turned around the driver began to accelerate. I initiated my lights and siren. The driver continued north on SH 23 at a high rate of speed passing vehicles in a no passing zone. The driver then cut through a private lot to avoid the intersection at SH 23 and SH 22. The driver continued east on SH 22. The driver then crossed the center line traveling into oncoming traffic and onto the north shoulder of SH 22. The driver then continued east on SH 22 at a high rate of speed before stopping on SH 22 near Core Road. The driver identified as Caden Franks was taken into custody and transported to Logan County detention center.
