Stop means stop. On the road. On the Trail. Every time. The life you save is your own.

In the past month alone, four bicyclists in our county have been critically injured or killed in collisions with vehicles. What did they have in common? Each one ran a stop sign or red light. Physics doesn't care if you've done it a hundred times before. A 4,000-pound vehicle versus a bike, there's only one outcome. And if you watch closely, you'll see it happening in the background of this video, cyclists rolling through the very intersection we're warning you about. Looking both ways isn't enough when another driver has the right of way and expects you to stop. Some drivers will stop for you even when they have the right of way. But counting on that is gambling with your life. Stop means stop. On the road. On the Trail. Every time. The life you save is your own.
