Over the weekend, deputies received a call from Rick’s Reef Bar about an intoxicated person causing a disturbance. The patron became upset when he was told he’d already paid his bill, then got angrier when he was asked to leave the restaurant. Outside the restaurant, he molested the plastic manatee in the parking lot and was once again asked to leave. He became physically aggressive with the employee asking him to leave and threw gator nuggets into the dining area before fleeing the scene. About a half hour later, he resurfaced at the Postcard Inn where he was yelling obscenities at employees before being asked to leave. He refused, prompting a call to PCSO. The suspect was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication. During his pat down, deputies discovered he’d pocketed some nuggets for the road.
