What began as a Logan County Sheriff's Office pursuit on State Highway 22 soon brought Arkansas State Police directly into the chase.
According to the official report, Trooper Jeremy Elliott was notified at approximately 2:27 PM that Logan County deputies were pursuing a silver 2025 Nissan Rogue westbound from the Delaware area toward Paris.
Elliott immediately responded with his emergency lights and siren activated. As he entered Paris, he observed local police positioned at several major intersections to help control traffic while the pursuit approached.
Trooper Elliott staged near the Sonic parking lot and waited for the Nissan to reach his location. As the Rogue passed, Elliott entered the roadway and assumed the primary position in the pursuit.
The chase continued westbound on State Highway 22. Once the vehicles cleared the more congested portion of Paris, the highway transitioned into a three-lane section.
With no oncoming traffic and conditions allowing an intervention, Elliott moved into position for a Tactical Vehicle Intervention.
What followed turned the pursuit into a major emergency response.

⚖️ OFFICIAL CHARGES
The Arkansas State Police report does not provide a specific list of official charges.
The narrative states that after the driver's medical evaluation and release from the hospital, the Logan County Sheriff's Office would take custody and proceed with the appropriate charges related to the pursuit and subsequent incident.
Because those individual charges are not listed in this report, I would not present inferred offenses as official charges.
