Year-long investigation results in arrest

Police seized drugs and firearms from a business near Dawson Park, arresting the owner on drug charges. A year-long investigation into the Stop N Go Mini Mart, sparked by community reports in March 2024, led to a search warrant on March 3, 2025. Officers seized cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, firearms (one stolen), replica guns, cash, and drug-related items. Owner Donald Sharma, 43, was arrested and booked on multiple drug charges. Police believe the store contributed to local drug trafficking and violence. Officials discussed the case at a news conference at Dawson Park.
