Title
Undercover FBI Sting in Little Rock - Arkansas State Police assist in pursuit and arrest of felons
Description
Trooper's Narrative: On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at approximately 1725 hours, I was assisting the FBI in the Little Rock area. While conducting operations in the Eagle Nest Apartments, I was informed that FBI agents were in pursuit of a gold Honda Accord with three black male occupants. The pursuit started southbound on Colonel Miller Road, from the Eagle Nest Apartments. The suspect vehicle continued east on W. Baseline Road, as it passed my location. After the vehicle passed me in the opposite direction, I became the primary unit involved in the pursuit. At this point, I activated my blue lights and siren, but the suspect vehicle failed to stop. As we continued east at approximately 95 mph, the suspect vehicle turned north into the Exxon parking lot. After finding no way out on the east side of the gas station, the Honda ran over a curb on the north side of the Exxon. After jumping the curb, it entered the Home Bank of Arkansas parking lot. The suspect vehicle attempted to leave the parking lot and enter Stagecoach Road, but was blocked by an FBI agent. At this point, the suspect turned south on Stagecoach Road, attempting to weave through traffic. It was at this point, that I was able to forcibly stop the suspect vehicle with the push bumper on my patrol car. After a brief moment, Israel Gould of Waukegan, IL, along with two other black male passengers were arrested and charged accordingly. During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle struct an innocent motorist while weaving through traffic. Little Rock PD was called to work the accident.
