His friend officer Knepper asked him to attack Patrick for recording him, and he was happy to oblige. The qualified immunity that he is used to enjoying doesn't apply to him when he's off duty dressed up and attacking people under color of law though. Now he's going to be sued in his personal capacity. After attacking Patrick, James Freeman Records Ben Winegrad stating that sometimes his emotions get the better of him when Patrick records him.
