#PoliceBodycam #Bodycam #Publix #PublixMeltdown #PoliceArrest #womanarrested On November 27, 2024, deputies responded to a welfare check involving a woman at a Publix grocery store after her family reportedly became concerned about her unusual behaviour. What started as a welfare check quickly turned into a chaotic police encounter when the woman became increasingly upset, began shouting profanities, and refused to leave the store after management requested that she be trespassed from the property. Bodycam footage captures deputies attempting to calm the situation and convince the woman to leave peacefully. Instead, the encounter continued to escalate as she made bizarre statements, argued with deputies, refused repeated instructions, and became increasingly uncooperative. After being given an opportunity to leave the property, the woman allegedly refused and resisted officers. Deputies ultimately placed her under arrest and explained that she was being taken to jail for trespassing after warning and resisting officers. The footage also captures the unusual conversations that followed, including deputies speaking with store management, discussing the welfare check, communicating with the woman's family, and preparing her for transport to the St. Johns County Jail.
