Title
Woman Calls 911 Repeatedly Over Fake Theft—Then Gets Arrested
Description
#Bodycam #PoliceBodycam #911Call #FakeTheft #PoliceArrest #publicintoxication On June 2, 2026, officers with the Anakin Police Department responded to another 911 call from a woman claiming that her friend had stolen her car keys. But this was not the first time officers had been called to the same location that night—and as deputies investigated, the woman's story began to fall apart. The woman claimed her friend had intentionally taken her keys and repeatedly insisted that she needed police help. However, officers discovered that she had previously admitted to putting the keys inside her friend's vehicle herself. She also struggled to explain why she had called 911 multiple times over the dispute. As officers continued speaking with her, they became increasingly concerned about her level of intoxication. She repeatedly denied being drunk, despite officers observing signs that she was heavily intoxicated. Officers eventually asked her to take a Breathalyzer test, but she initially refused to give a clear answer. The situation escalated when officers determined that she was intoxicated in a public place and had repeatedly used 911 for matters they determined were not emergencies. Despite repeatedly asking to simply go inside her nearby home, she was placed under arrest. Bodycam footage captures the entire encounter, including the disputed car keys, conflicting statements, repeated 911 calls, the Breathalyzer interaction, the arrest, and the woman's repeated attempts to convince officers to let her go home. According to the footage, the woman was ultimately transported to the Poke County Jail, where she was booked and charged with public intoxication and misuse of 911. This video is presented for educational, documentary, and news reporting purposes. All individuals shown are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. The footage is used in accordance with applicable public records laws and fair use principles.
