Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) on fleeing felon - Arkansas State Police PIT ending pursuit

Trooper's Narrative: While traveling west on Interstate 40 at mile 150 in lane #1 V1 passed me in lane #2 at a very high rate of speed. I confirmed V1's speed at 112 mph in a 65 mph zone. I attempted to initiate a traffic stop. After turning on my emergency equipment V1 accelerated and acted as if it would exit onto the Crystal Hill Road off-ramp. V1 immediately swerved hard left back on I-40 and reached speeds of 131 mph. Again V1 acted as if it would exit onto the White Oak off-ramp and swerved back onto I-40. Continuing on I-40 Sgt. Briggs engaged in the pursuit and performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention near mile 144. S1 was subsequently was placed under arrest without incident. Upon approaching V1 troopers smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from within V1. During a probable cause search of V1 Trooper Jeb Little located a Glock model 31 .357 caliber (located in the passenger seat). S1 was charged with fleeing, reckless driving, suspended driver's license, speeding, carrying a firearm by certain person. Firearm was entered into evidence.
