Officer Gives Multiple Chances, She Refuses All | Police Bodycam

Police bodycam footage shows a Clearwater Beach alcohol stop spiraling after a teen repeatedly lies about her age. What should’ve been a simple underage drinking citation turns into handcuffs, criminal charges, and an arrest on the beach. On May 5, 2022, officers patrolling Clearwater Beach encountered a group of college students with open alcohol containers. The officer repeatedly gave them chances to be honest, explaining it was a civil citation—not a crime. But after a 19-year-old lied about being over 21 and provided false information twice, the situation escalated. What could’ve been a $118 ticket became criminal charges when dishonesty turned a simple stop into obstruction. The officer even asked friends to grab clothing so she wouldn’t be transported to jail in a bikini. ⚠️ Viewer discretion advised.
