Title
When a Defiant 21-Year-Old Tells Police She's Got a Gun in the Car
Description
On Saturday, May 24, 2025, officers were patrolling the area near the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando when they noticed the car in front of them had an expired temporary tag on it. After pulling the vehicle over, the officer requested the driver roll all the windows down, but she refused. Shortly thereafter, the driver would admit to having a weapon in the car as well. This PRA video serves as an educational resource for understanding the protocols police follow when confronted with non-compliance during a traffic stop and the case law that gives them the right to order a driver from the vehicle.
