Noticing that the motorcycle had no license plate, Trooper Bratton initiated a pursuit as the rider, a white male wearing a black hoodie, orange undershirt, blue jeans, and a white helmet, began fleeing westbound on I-440. The motorcycle reached speeds of over 120 MPH, weaving through traffic and using the shoulder to overtake vehicles. Despite Trooper Bratton’s efforts to catch up, his patrol vehicle experienced mechanical issues, forcing him to lose sight of the motorcycle and ultimately cancel the pursuit near the 11-mile marker of I-440 westbound.
