Title
PURSUIT! Stolen Jeep Cherokee flees from Arkansas State Police - PIT MANEUVER sends SUV into fence
Description
On 03/25/2026 at approximately 11:54 PM while on routine patrol on State HWY 107, I observed a red Jeep Cherokee sitting
stationary on Kenwood Drive about to turn onto State HWY 107. I was aware of a possible stolen vehicle matching this
description in the area, so I stopped my vehicle near Kuykendall Road and HWY 107 to wait for the vehicle to pass.
Approximately one minute later the Jeep passed my location. It was bearing AR LPN GFCJVB, a query of ACIC/NCIC showed
the vehicle to be stolen. I attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of State
HWY 107 and Cordie Lane.
I exited my patrol car and observed a white male in the driver’s seat, I told him to exit the vehicle, which he ignored. The Jeep
Cherokee began to flee back south on State HWY 107 above the speed limit ignoring my emergency lights and sirens. The
Jeep Cherokee turned east on to Old Tom Box Road traveling around sixty miles per hour. He continued and turned north onto
Maddox Road, attempting to evade at speeds around sixty-five miles per hour.
He continued driving and Maddox Road turned to the east, where I conducted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (T.V.I.) near the
intersection of Maddox and Centennial Road. I conducted the T.V.I. on the driver’s side of the vehicle and spun the car to the
northern side of the road. The vehicle continued north through a fence at 3018 Maddox and started rolling east. I travelled
parallel to the vehicle east on Maddox Road to keep the vehicle from breaking out the other side of the fence. While traveling
east, I observed a bald, white male wearing a grey shirt exit the vehicle and begin to flee on foot to the north while the car was
still in motion. I stopped my vehicle, on the other side of the fence, clearing the car and relaying the last known location of the
suspect.
A white female arrived at the scene, and stated the male driving the vehicle was possibly Kenneth MYERS.
This male did match the description, however it should be noted, this female refused to be identified and did not provide any
evidence to support her claim. There was no supplemental evidence inside the vehicle to support this assertation. Units drive
by the listed address but were unable to make contact with MYERS.
When more units arrived, a track was conducted from the suspect’s last known location. This was met with negative results.
Ryno Wrecker towed the vehicle from the scene.
Contact was made with LRPD who notified the owner of the vehicle of its location. LRPD dispatch cleared the vehicle from
ACIC/NCIC as stolen.
I made contact with the homeowner at 3018 Maddox, and she was issued an incident report for the damage caused to her
fence.
