Title
When Mom Turns School Drop-Off into 2 Felonies
Description
On Thursday, October 9, 2025 in Kissimmee, Florida, an officer was conducting active school zone enforcement when he clocked a Dodge Caravan going 31MPH in a 20MPH school zone. As the Caravan passed him, he also saw that two children were not buckled into their seats. He pulled behind the vehicle and activated his lights and chirped his siren, but the vehicle continued into the nearby school parking lot and parked. When he contacted the driver and requested her license, the woman told him he had to wait until she went inside. He requested her license again and after additional refusals, he attempted to place her under arrest. This PRA video documents the progression of a school zone traffic stop, serving as an educational case study on the importance of officer compliance and the legal repercussions of refusing to provide identification.
