Babysitter Claims 3-Year-Old Girl Kept Hurting Herself—Until Detectives Confront Her With Evidence
Description
Killer Babysitter blames 3-Year-Old girl for her death—Until Her Story Falls Apart
Three-year-old Hannah Wesche was dropped off at her babysitter Lindsay Partin’s Ohio home on the morning of March 8, 2018. Minutes later, something was terribly wrong. Hannah was struggling to breathe and unresponsive, and emergency responders rushed her to the hospital with devastating injuries.
At first, Partin claimed Hannah had been fine before suddenly collapsing. During the 911 call, she said the little girl had “passed out” and “went limp.” But when detectives began questioning her, the explanation started changing. Partin described falls and accidents before eventually making damaging admissions about striking, shaking, squeezing, and excessively disciplining Hannah.
In this episode of Stayalert Interrogation, watch the police interrogation unfold as detectives challenge Lindsay Partin’s changing accounts and confront her about what happened to Hannah. The interview shows how investigators compare a suspect’s statements against medical evidence, timelines, previous explanations, and her own admissions.
Hannah never recovered from her traumatic brain injury and died 10 days after she was hospitalized. In April 2019, a Butler County jury convicted Lindsay Partin of murder, involuntary manslaughter, and child endangering. She was later sentenced to 18 years to life in prison. Her convictions were affirmed by the Ohio Court of Appeals in 2020.
